We have made reservations online, but unfortunately we have not received confirmation. We went anyway and they had our reservation. Maybe check the booking system again. We were warmly welcomed and taken to our place. It is rustically decorated as you imagine a seafood restaurant. We opted for a beer and a tap water-which is offered in the menu. Smoked trout on salad with toast and breaded zander fillet. We also ordered potato corners and tartar sauce and garlic bread. The drinks were brought quickly, unfortunately there were ice cubes in the tap water. I don't like ice cubes, especially in the cold season. I asked if I could get a spoon and a plate to remove the ice cubes. I got a death look for it. The glass was taken away angrily and then slammed back into me. The food was good, everything freshly prepared. The tartare sauce could have done with some seasoning and the garlic for the DIY garlic bread was a bit firm and the bread was no longer warm. All in all, however, a recommendation. Unfortunately, only cash payment in kronor or euro was possible and the rate was not so good.

A very good choice of fish dishes and white wines. Trout is highly recommended. However when sitting outside beware of wasps. For some inexplicable reason the restaurant does not accept cards.

Best tuna steak

Restaurant is very stilish sitting next to a lake - fitting fishing decor - menu full of Czech and other fish. We went for tuna steak with grilled veggies and it was amazing - not dry as tuna can be, beautifully presented and the dill sause was amazing with the fish. Definitely worth visit and saying that i am a big foodie is also a quarantee you will not regret the choice:)

What was the most horrible restaurant in Czech we have been! Very unfriendly and unprofessional waiter who literally was throwing things at the table. At 19.50 we were informed that kitchen is closed and our friends who came later were literally refused to be served. Fish they served was overcooked and dry. They do not accept cards but only cash). I would not recommend that restaurant to ANYBODY. Bad service and not interesting food.

What a horrible experience! Upon arrival, the waiter informed us that the wait time for the main course was 40 minutes. The restaurant didn't seem full, plus the waiter was constantly chatting with his probably friends at the next table - but so be it, we took the longer wait in stride. Still, we were surprised that we waited 45 mimutes for an appetizer of pate as well. When we asked for apple juice for the kids, we were disappointed that they only had orange juice. The kids ordered an ice cream sundae and got hot raspberries with ice cream instead. The biggest disappointment was the goat cheese salad - an unflavored leaf salad drizzled with an almost inedible ridiculously hot dressing. My wife had the salad as a suitable meal when breastfeeding, but we were very wrong about that... At the end, the waiter told us without prior warning that we couldn't pay by card. We later found out that outside, this information is sometimes written on a light board outside the entrance, but it alternates with photos of the dishes and the menu, so we were just unlucky not to see it when we arrived... So we ended a very unpleasant two-hour stay (during which we only managed to get pate, hot raspberries and salad) with a sprint to the ATM. Maybe we were just unlucky, but based on our experience we highly do not recommend the restaurant.

Awful place, avoid!

Awful little restaurant with bad service. Overcooked dry fish, boring supplememts, rude staff. Closes at 20.00 (!!!) and will not take later orders. I've never experienced staff as rude and disgusting. Wine list is mimimal and grossly overprized. Avoid this restaurant!

It´s actually really sad to rate a restaurant so low :( We came here with my family who were visiting one afternoon during my stay in Spa Frantiskovy Lazne. We booked for one o´clock - the restaurant was full but our table was ready and they didn´t mind us bringing a dog (even offered water to him). So far so good. We placed our orders, got drinks in reasonable time. But we waited for OVER AN HOUR FOR OUR LUNCH! I appreciate the place was busy and I appreciate the food was cooked fresh. But to be waiting such a long time is just not acceptable. It wasn´t exceptional culinary experience, just an ok fresh fish. Not worth it, really. And they don´t take cards which, considering the prices, is not good either. Never more ...

Was craving fish ;-)

We had a craving for fish and this place fit the ticket. Sunset over a large duck pond a castle like building covered with ivy...great atmosphere and good service. The food took a while because it was packed and was pretty fresh so it was worth the wait. I can recommend this restaurant if you're in the area

We arrived at 20:30 at the restaurant. Waiters, a girl, announced that they are already closed. We said that there is still working hours, but she had rather disgraceful behaviour.

Our restaurant open at 11:00 and close at 21:00, so at 20:30 we dont accept/seat new customers. Kitchen is closed and we only accept last orders of customers coming earlier. Sorry. Eva

Take enough cash and patience

The fish (sprout) was very good, portions ok. The restaurant is not only the most expensive in Frantiskovy, but the most expensive we ever visited in the Czech Republic. The prices do not match the overall quality and service. We arrived at 19.00, had to wait an hour before food was served and the kitchen was already closed for deserts when we finished. The waitress seemed to be irritated about us the minute we came in. Furniture is authentic, but uncomfortable.

Carp!!

Had carp one Christmas in Poland and said "Never again!" but really enjoyed the mildly spicy version served here! After sampling the waters from the nearby Glaube Spring we sat at a table by the lake for fish. A very pleasant meal.
