Nice location near the small lake, but average food, mostly fried, even fish. We expected fish restaurant not a fish "McDonald".

Restaurant is very stilish sitting next to a lake - fitting fishing decor - menu full of Czech and other fish. We went for tuna steak with grilled veggies and it was amazing - not dry as tuna can be, beautifully presented and the dill...sause was amazing with the fish. Definitely worth visit and saying that i am a big foodie is also a quarantee you will not regret the choice:)More
Great seafood, fresh and light. Also had a great wine selection and good deserts. Staff was friendly and helpful!
we really enjoyed our dinner there! nice atmosphere, lots of things and decorations to look at, friendly staff, goos food and reasonable prices!
Thank you for your visit and positive rating here. We look forward to meet you here again, Eva.
It´s actually really sad to rate a restaurant so low :( We came here with my family who were visiting one afternoon during my stay in Spa Frantiskovy Lazne. We booked for one o´clock - the restaurant was full but our table was ready and...they didn´t mind us bringing a dog (even offered water to him). So far so good. We placed our orders, got drinks in reasonable time. But we waited for OVER AN HOUR FOR OUR LUNCH! I appreciate the place was busy and I appreciate the food was cooked fresh. But to be waiting such a long time is just not acceptable. It wasn´t exceptional culinary experience, just an ok fresh fish. Not worth it, really. And they don´t take cards which, considering the prices, is not good either. Never more ...More
We had a craving for fish and this place fit the ticket. Sunset over a large duck pond a castle like building covered with ivy...great atmosphere and good service. The food took a while because it was packed and was pretty fresh so it was...worth the wait. I can recommend this restaurant if you're in the areaMore
Thank you very much for your nice compliment. We look forward to meet you in our place again and wish you a pleasant days 😉 EVA
We arrived at 20:30 at the restaurant. Waiters, a girl, announced that they are already closed. We said that there is still working hours, but she had rather disgraceful behaviour.
Our restaurant open at 11:00 and close at 21:00, so at 20:30 we dont accept/seat new customers. Kitchen is closed and we only accept last orders of customers coming earlier. Sorry. Eva
The fish (sprout) was very good, portions ok. The restaurant is not only the most expensive in Frantiskovy, but the most expensive we ever visited in the Czech Republic. The prices do not match the overall quality and service. We arrived at 19.00, had to...wait an hour before food was served and the kitchen was already closed for deserts when we finished. The waitress seemed to be irritated about us the minute we came in. Furniture is authentic, but uncomfortable.More
Had carp one Christmas in Poland and said "Never again!" but really enjoyed the mildly spicy version served here! After sampling the waters from the nearby Glaube Spring we sat at a table by the lake for fish. A very pleasant meal.
If you like fresh water fish this is the place, . Very nice little restaurant by the lake. We will definitely be back
Located in a park on a small lake, this restaurant is pretty much the most expensive in town. The food is just average and the portions are so small that we went for a second dinner 2 hours later.
This restaurant simply has a perfect location - on the shore of a small lake, but still close to city centre, looks great from outside and also the interior may give the impression of coziness....if I wasn´t the only guest, if the waitress wasn´t so...annoyed, if the kitchen didn´t smell so much with burned oil.....I was served right after the waitress finished her call to her friend. The fish soup was a vegetable one with pieces of fish (but it was delicious), white wine was poor and the main dish also - the croquette was burnt and the flatfish was fried what I did not know before. Definitely could recommend this place for a dinner........More
The wide range of fish dishes available makes a change from the standard heavy Czech fare served up in most restaurants in this charming spa town. Just some 10 minutes walk from the town centre and located in a historic building on the shores of...a little lake, the restaurant could be a nice destination to end up for lunch or dinner after a walk through the spa woods. Service was very friendly and attentive, if rather slow - the restaurant was very full on the Saturday lunchtime we were there. Fish dishes are prepared in classic Czech style, no gastronomic surprises here and no concessions to more modern approaches to restaurant cooking or presentation. The food was moderately-priced to expensive by local standard, there was a good choice of local wines, and a complimentary digestif was offered with the bill. There is a terrace outside which could make a pleasant alternative to the folky interior decor in warmer weather.More
