Pepe Lopez is not as it use to be. Price is higher - that don´t bother me if you have a good service. But the waiter semmed too be arrogant, you have to wait a long time for a drink even a food. And my friend told me about a large rat that was inside restaurant hopefully once.

Nice Mexican restaurant

Our first impression was rather skeptical, as there was a bad sulfur smell in the air. Since we are not in the area too often, we do not know if this is a permanent condition, or just that evening. In any case, it was not due to the restaurant. Even though we were told it might take a little longer, drinks and food arrived quite quickly. Even our colleague, who is not a fan of Mexican food, was convinced and satisfied afterwards. The benches outside are unfortunately a bit uncomfortable to stay there for a long time.

1st time - well impressed, 2nd time - awful service and far too long waiting given the amount of guests and food offered

First impression was good, so we went a second time later the same week. Friday eve. Conclusion: here seems Someone to be resting on former “fame”. The manager gave us a table just in front of the door though none of the reservations showed up while we have been here. Even worse, he very unfriendly “told” us not to sit down at a table in a corner which did not show a reservation sign (the one he gave us, did). We then had a waiter who did not understand a word English nor did he understand our order and needed to check several times. The table was sticky, did not get cleaned, the iPads they have as menu are sticky as well and have tremendous problems with Wi-Fi connection. What is an absolute no-go is the time it took until the food arrived (after having checked in by is) - more than an hour!! And we are talking about a fajita and quesadillas. Both nothing complicated nor anything other than ordinary to prepare in advance or arrange on a plate. Same applies to the food around our table. There are better quality food restaurants with far friendlier service and better prices.

Had a reservation for 1 PM. Showed up a few minutes early. We weren't asked for our drink order until 1:20. We weren't asked for our food order until 1:30. We didn't get our appetizer until 2:30. We finally decided to leave before our main meal came at 3:15. The food is normally great but we didn't get that far Into our experience. We rode a train 2 hours to get to this resteraunt and had to leave over 2 hours later without getting our food. It's a shame.

Over an hour waiting for the food when there were few people. Unfriendly service, free choice of seats was not tolerated even though the table we had chosen was not occupied while we were there. Hardly any foreign language skills. The only word that came across fluently was "tip". Relatively expensive. A restaurant for night owls and Ferrari drivers.

Still keeping good standard!

I have decided to check if my favourite restaurant in Chomutov keep the same standard as I remember it from last time so I stopped here for a lunch. And yeah, they are doing very well!! :-)

BEST STEAK FAJITAS I HAVE EATEN. Seriously. This place was so good. All the food that everyone ordered looked great. Standard Mexican dishes, and I will openly admit, Mexican is not my first choice. But the food was excellent. The wraps for your fajitas were great, you only got 2 but they are the size of bed sheets! We will be returning to Chomutov later in the year. We will definitely be returning. Great beer and service also. And very reasonably priced. 10/10

Perfect menu on tablet

We were suprised by innovative menu on tablets.. although it is not possible to order by this devices. Very friendly prices of drinks! The most important thing is that this restaurant offers absolutely awesome meals. You can be also sure WC is clean and without any smell. See ya again there!

Staff is very friendly, food is mostly good but it depends on the cook. What is its disadvantage- you have to pay fpr tap water. Shame!
