Fresh grilled trouts, delicious.

First time in Cesky Krumlov and thought of having some traditional dishes of this area and found this little quaint but nice Bohemian restaurant. Both of us ordered grilled trouts, my husband's dish was trout with garlic, side dish was deep fried potato's and mine was trout with bacon,side dish was grilled vegetables. No regret of trying the food out here as the trouts were fresh and juicy, grilled vegetables was done perfectly and we also loved those fried potatoes. The price is in a mid-range if you considered Cesky Krumlov is an UNESCO heritage site. Overall, it is a restaurant you can try if you want to have some bohemian foods.

Delicious meal & drink - cash only

I had the traditional potato pancake filled with cabbage and pork, it was delicious!! Also ordered an Aperol Spritz (excellent) and later a glass of water (but I was given a bottle). Lucky that I had cash as I didn’t know they don’t take card and a bit disappointed I was charged for a bottle of water as only needed a glass of tap water, maybe that is my mistake.

Pleasant ancient restaurant

Nice place but not quite as charming as the Hospoda na Louži next door (older cuter furniture, as at their neighbour’s, would be an improvement). It claims to have been going since the 18th century and the vaulted ceilings suggest that can’t be far wrong. They do a terrific goulash with onions and dumplings. With excellent Budvar and a glass of house red, the bill came to a reasonable KČ445, about A$29. Friendly service.

Ok meal. OK service. OK setting. Our group of 4, with one Czech speaking member, were surprised at the end of the meal to be told it was cash only. It was not shown at the in the restaurant or the menu that card was not accepted. We didn't quite have enough Czech crown so we paid in Euro and they charged 5 Euro for the pleasure to do so ... rip off. We learnt from this experience to always check if businesses take card as Cesky Krumlov is a ' Cash Town'.

Very good food (one of our best in Cesky Krumlov)

All the food we had was very good, but I highly recommend the fried carp filets, which was very tasty, deboned, filets and were not dried out. Service was top notch, helpful and friendly. We ate outside which was lovely sitting on a street in the old town. Cost us $30 for two. highly recommend

Flawless diner in a perfect place

Honestly this restourant is ok but the waiter so bad attitude mostly for Asia people looks rasis and yealing to us when we order . We came with 8 people and hungry we want them buy but he is not accept welcome nice to us Please be consider to come here Please be aware

You can only pay with cash. The service stuff didn't really cared about us, they weren't paticulary nice. The food was good but nothing tó write home about. Mediocre is the keyword here.

Classic traditional food.

We struggled to find really good food in Cesky and service but here we succeeded. It’s attractive inside, we were welcomed straight away and made to feel welcome. It’s a family business so I always think that helps. There was a good selection on the menu but not too much and we both went for traditional dishes of perch and meat in a pancake. Both were very generous and delicious, our starter sausages I could have eaten all day, great beer and charming staff.

The service was rude and unfriendly. The food it was just okay.It is outaregeous that a restaurant located in the center of Cesky doesn't accept credit cards.Nobody informed us about this since we asked for the bill and then they were ironic about not having cash with us. NOT RECCOMENDED.

Tourist trap

The service was impolite and bad. Our waiter was ironic! The food was anything but good and the prices are too high considering what they serving. NOT recommended!!!

One of the best dinners we had in the Czech Republic

My wife and I both had the mixed grill, and it was delicious. Very tender meat. Waiters also very helpful. Thank you, definitely recommended!
