Simple menu, great ingredients from farmers, balanced flavors. Toasts are made from sourdough bread made to order from a local baker. We had toast with scrambled eggs and grated truffle, then with mushrooms sautéed with garlic, thyme and a little pesto on cottage cheese, then another with marinated salmon on fresh cheese, and also with duck rillette. And Panzanella salad with pieces of bread and tomatoes. A great light dinner. Next time we will come for breakfast!

We came on Saturday as a group of fifteen without a reservation at lunch time to a small bistro with a pleasant interior and we were warmly welcomed. The staff immediately sorted out seats and chairs so that we could all sit down and it worked. Our group ordered all the toasties on the menu and they were all a hit. Service was reasonably quick for the size of our group and the variety of orders. So thumbs up for our group and we are already recommending further.

A bistro with a beautiful and refined environment. Professional and friendly service. Our dog was immediately given a bowl of water. Great pancakes with blueberries, awesome Gin and Tonic and great flat white. Maximum satisfaction, we will come again.

Second visit to the bistro this year and I was expecting something different from how the bistro presents itself. Staff quite unpleasant always. But this second visit, we were really shaking our heads. There were 5 of us and we wanted to have a bottle of white wine. Almost nothing was cold in the offer of about 20 varieties. When we then wanted to have a glass of wine from the offer, it was also a problem because the lady only had 3 glasses in the bottle. When choosing bubbles, the lady forced us to have cava instead of prosecco, because it is much better and only a little more expensive (apparently she didn't want to open a new bottle of prosecco). I'm not even talking about the water on the table that contained the flower, which was already moldy. Well, we had a drink and went on. Damage.

A beautiful place in the center with a view of the river and an excellent bistro with a wonderful, non-traditional selection of toasts. My favorite is toast with salmon, man. Be sure to try the desserts as well. I have my fingers crossed for Darina and company 👍

Without a doubt, the best place for food in Cesky Krumlov and one of the best for drinks. Eduard the chef knows his art. Beautiful views in good weather over the park.
