A very welcoming and perfectly english speaking crew. Not pushy during ordering despite a full house. The first course was not only very delicious but also a treat for the eyes. We ate rather slowly but the main course was served despite one meat order well done and the other medium cooked to perfection and again nicely decorated. The portions were so that there was no room for dessert. A place to recommend highly due to a perfect team preparing a very nice culinary experience.

Duck breast was perfectly cooked, flavorful, tender. Potato puree was smooth, wine sauce was excellent. Creme brulee was excellent as well. Everything was visually pleasing. For that price never had a better meal.

Excellent restaurant with fusion and local food. We had veggy burger, duck breast and Cesar's salad, all excellent with great and perfectly cooked meat (both duck and chicken), good wine selection (and beer, of course), desserts also are good. Great service, quick and kind. Bill in line with quality and not expensive.

Excellent service! Amazing food! My steak was cooked to perfection (has been long time!!). The beef cheeks were so tender and juicy, just loved it. If you visit Ceske Budejovice make sure you visit Brio!

Food fantastic, service was a little overwhelmed with me

The food was very good, but the service was not very good. At the beginning we had a different waitress and I ordered the food from it, but unfortunately it never came because the next waitress didn't know anything about it. My girlfriend ate and I watched, then took my food home to eat. But that can happen, unfortunately we don't speak Czech, but we will come again because of the good food.

We dined at this establishment on a Saturday night, four adults and one child. The experience was great and the food was delicious. The service team was kind, prompt and completely accommodating (special thanks to Anička). I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Great food, crowded guests

We came for dinner, the food excellent. But the environment is terrible, we felt like we were crammed on a plane. You can't hear your own word. Basically, we threw it into each other and went to a better place. Maybe for a quick lunch, never for dinner again.

We had excellent food in a very cozy atmosphare at this restaurat. Tastes are fantastic and we also enjoyed the look of our dishes. We will come back next time, when come to the city. Highly recomended! Probably best in town.

First of all, I would like to point out that this is not a new "review". We have known the restaurant for many years and have always been very satisfied. We were not there on our current visit to Budweis because something unfortunate happened during our visit in April this year. My husband made a reservation for us and our friends, the occasion was my birthday. He ordered flowers and an aperitif... When we arrived that evening, all we were told was "is the reservation for the birthday?" That was it! No friendly words or even a congratulations. We found the behavior sad.

In our opinion the absolute best restaurant in Budweis. Excellent food, extensive wine list, friendly and competent staff, tasteful and air-conditioned restaurant, fair prices. Reservation useful unless you arrive shortly after opening.

Better Duck breast than in Paris

I’ve got to say… amazing. A small town in Czech Republic with a surprisingly good resto. I always relied on TripAdvisor reviews and this time it didn’t let me down. The interior of the restaurant could be a bit misleading as the menu, but the Duck breast I ate was cooked and served better than in the heart of Paris next to Champs-Élysées and definitely three times cheaper. Potato pyre is delicious, plate is impeccable. I drove here almost 100 kilometers for another reason. Next time I will come here for a Duck breast dich in Brio Restaurant.

I have no bad words for this restaurant! Everything was excellent and on point: the staff, the waiting time (zero) , the interiors, the clean bathroom and of course the food! I had beef cheeks, possibly the best I have ever had considering any country I visited (i am Italian). Ceske has super nice restaurants and i am only on day 3 of my stay, i am booking for a group dinner right now!
