If you are looking for a great meal, you should really go to Bistro Magdalene. I like this restaurant a lot, me and my family choose it for celebrating some festivities. It’s located on the housing estate Vltava in České Budějovice. This French restaurant offers...salads, fresh fish and grilled meat. The Bistro has won the award for the best restaurant of the year 2016 in South Bohemia. It uses quality and fresh ingredients, they cook easy but delicious meals. It’s open from 10:30 AM - 8 PM. You can look forward to a very nice and cosy environment with kind service. The only issue is overflowing because the restaurant is full very often, so you should make a reservation. If you don’t know what meal should you try, I would recommend chocolate cheesecake for dessert (it’s delicious).More

Had dinner there on friday night along with some live music which was fantastic. The duck leg confit I had was absolutely delicious. The staff was professional and friendly. Would definitely visit again :)

Stopping by when driving back home from the South of Bohemia to Brno. Tasty, fresh lunch (soft and juicy and well prepared lamb, burger and pork sirloine. Nice staff. Reasonable pricing. Easy going restaurant with great choice of dishes. Have been there with big company for a late brunch this weekend and I can say, the best lamb in town is here at home. Very good few dishes for kids and a nice and professional staff...are just the top of the restaurant's performance. Highly recommended as well as a reservation in advance.More

The food was excellent. The prices are quite high but worth it. Long waiting times but we were there for lunch on Saturday so it was understandable.

Magdalena gets us out of the common-place Czech menu to some new and special dishes. The service is excellent. Inside, the decor gives the feel of a trendy Stateside restaurant- comfortable yet classy. Since the weather is still lovely, we enjoyed dining in their outdoor...patio area. Found this restaurant by coincidence. We were very happy with the quality of food and wine. The waitress was very nice and friendly. The terrace is a great advantage in summer.

Despite the location in the middle of block of flats, interior is in the french bistrot style - awesome. Feels like an oasis. Loved the desserts and wine selection. And the highlight - homemade lemonade! Thanks, we will be back :)

We enjoyed a tasty lunch in this cozy place. All family members were thrilled with the food. The traditional Czech cuisine, the veggie option, the slowly pulled tender meat... On top very caring service and yummy deserts. Free parking in front of the door. Can...only say... We will come back!More

Dropped by after finding this place on TripAdvisor and it had the highest rating in the area. Excellent restaurant with an italian menu with czech/english languege. Staff very polite and provided great service. Food very good. We had burgers and salmon fillets. Good dishes.
