We are very grateful that you chose us and you enjoyed our meals. You are welcome to come back any time to taste more of our delicious menu. Looking forward to your visit!
Your sincerely Pasta Grande team
Rude staff - one was sitting down eating her dinner while we were waiting to order, nothing more to be said
Food - overpriced - everything is extra - for example, Salmon, if you don't order a baked potato as an extra you'll get a...piece of salmon in the middle of the plate.
They charge a couvert of 10CZK per person for nothing, just to sit in their restaurant. What a shoddy business.
There are far better places not far away in Ceske Budejovice, steer clear on this one.More
In no Restaurant Have i seen so unfriendly and rude waitresses! After she brought us the drinks she ignored us for the next 20 minutes, although we wanted to make an order. There were not so many people in there, but still the stuff was...somehow very busy, have no idea with what! When she finally came to us, with that „unhappy “ face, the evening was totally spoilt because of such attitude!
I used to like this place, but never again will i visit it!!More
Admittedly I was not looking forward to going to this restaurant due to what appeared to be a bad combination of a pizza parlor and an Olive Garden. Boy was I wrong. The food was fantastic along with the wine.
We ordered a bottle of...Italian Chianti and our table had pasta with porcini mushrooms, top sirloin, pork tenderloin and steak with arugula. All of them were fantastic in addition to risotto, sautéed spinach, green beans and pancetta along with the grilled vegetables.
The only criticism would be the borscht that I ordered was too hot so it lost its color but the flavor was wonderful and admittedly this was a minor issue and didn’t stop me from eating the entire portion.
The service was relaxed so if you are in a hurry you better tell your server. All the food came out piping hot which was welcomed by our table.
We were too full to order dessert but they looked wonderful and if the meal was any indication I am sure they would have been great.More
For fresh, authentic Italian food, in the heart of South Bohemia, Pasta Grande does it right! The Caprese Salad is a frequent choice for me at local restaurants, since it’s an appetizer which I can generally get gluten-free, but theirs was truly a surprise -...the flavor and texture of the mozzarella was exquisite! It definitely left us wanting more. Pork loin and GF fusilli was another taste treat! Kind and attentive wait staff, too. If you want to go on a weekend, you will need a reservation.More
An Italian restaurant in the city centre. My overall feeling about the restaurant is influenced by the slow and not very professional service. Everything was very slow. They showed us our table, but we had to wait just for the menu for 15 minutes. Then...we waited for drinks and meals, because they brought them together. Pasta was supposed to be with cheese, but it wasn’t and there was no waiter to ask about that for about next 30 minutes.
Meals were good, but the dinner wasn’t pleasant at all.More
This place works if you want a light meal or several courses. I thoroughly enjoyed my salad of watercress, tomatoes, and cheese. They didn't have mussels so I tried the octopus, which was perfectly cooked, so tender and tasty. It came with a small arugula...salad with a good balsamic vinaigrette. I enjoyed my white wine, but if you'd like a substantial red, this is the place in town where you can get it (Czech reds tend to be thin). They had several nice Italian red wines on offer. I didn't try their pasta, but expect it would have been fresh and tasty based on the quality of our meals. And prices were very reasonable. Couldn't have been happier.More
