Heydon is one of those villages we have been meaning to go to for years as both it and the tea rooms get good reviews in many ways. The tea shop was quite quiet but it was noticeable that several tables had reserve notices on for the lunch period so was obviously going to get busier. There is a nice... More

What an amazing little tea shop. We couldn't have asked for more. Fabulous coffee, delicious scones - fig and apricot- and friendly service too! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the village and took some " posh pop" ( ginger beer and chilli) home to sip in the evening sunshine. Thank you for a delightful morning treat.

We had a great afternoon tea. There was so much to eat and endless tea. The service was great . It small and you do need to book as it was busy. We loved the set up.

We've been intending to visit the Heydon Village Tea Shop for years. At last we've made it. And well worth while it was too. Heydon is a village way off the beaten track and its tea shop is synonymous with the quaintness of the village itself. Nicely decorated and with the collection of knick-knacks that go with such an establishment,... More

I went along to the Heydon Vintage Fair on sunday and just had the best time. Having walked the place flat I went into the tea shop to get a cuppa and cake. What a surprise upon entering, the place is like a tardis with nooks and crannies everywhere, and all of them welcoming. Good selection of teas and cakes... More

If you want to try a quintessential afternoon tea go to Heydon Tea Rooms. The food is beautifully baked scones and cakes cooked with a delicate hand to produce a variety of light delights. Served as smaller portions so that the cakes are a perfect size. There is a choice of scones to go with the patisseries and a mix... More

We booked an afternoon tea as it was our wedding anniversary and wanted something a little special, we were not disappointed, everything was tasty and homemade cakes and scones were delicious (so were the sandwiches). All served by excellent staff - just perfect. Thank you to everyone there who made it a lovely way to spend an afternoon.

We visited this place last week for our first anniversary, the weather was nice and it was a busy day. We ordered afternoon tea and it was phenomenal. Great range of sandwiches, delicious cakes and the scones were unbelievable. Service was great and the setting is idyllic. Would recommend this place highly.

We had Afternoon Tea here on Sunday. It was beautifully served, plentiful, great selection of sandwiches, mini-cakes (home made) and choice of 5 different scones! Thoroughly enjoyed and recommended.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and your very kind words. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your afternoon tea with us! A choice of 5 scones might seem a bit excessive, but we just can't ever decide between them! We hope to see you again some time x More
