takeout only, lots of food for the buck, rarely do they have your order on time but it is fresh and reasonable

This was my first time trying this place and I will not go back. Ordered pork fried rice which appeared to have a yellowish color, not sure what this is all about. The rice tasted very old.
Also the place upon entry was a mess. There were empty boxes, dirty yellow rags, and a large bowl with an uncovered food item sitting out.
The establishment also had a weird unpleasant smell.

I have been here several times and haven’t ever had a bad experience
If you have to wait it’s because everything is cooked to order and is worth the wait
There are a lot of these types of places to eat in our area but they are still the best

I am a local resident and have been going to China Star for decades. It is simply the best Chinese take-out restaurant in the county. I have tried other places, depending on the area of town I may be in, and nothing can compare to China Star. Family owned and operated, they take pride in their business of good food. PS - You will never find a better egg roll or one that even comes close.

The daughter is so nasty when she takes phone orders and doesn't appreciate her parents business. The egg foo yong is awful and the gravy tastes like mud water....NEVER again...
