We have a place on the island and this is fun to go to if the music is playing. However, it is FULL of tourists and really has very little for you if you are looking for a local "feel"..

@ 6PM everything is ready and I strongly suggest getting there on time since the line will be long but it moves pretty quickly. The fish is fried and I had rice & peas. I got 2 good size fish with hot sauce for $15....Drinks are separate. The road is then blocked off for dancing to all different types of music. There is also conch salad, some sweets as well.More

Nothing special. Fish was a whole small fish with the head on. Chicken was good. Long wait for food. Cheap but a restaurant would have been better.

We were in Eleuthera the week after New Years. This time of year was great almost every beach we went to was like have a private beach. What a beautiful Island with so many different beaches. Twin cove, Queens Bath, Lighthouse Beach, Ten bay and...French Leave. The Anchor Bay fish fry was so much fun! The staff is super friendly, but like I said get here early. It starts at 7 and they were sold out of fish and chicken by 8:15. The pork here is also good. They close the street and a DJ plays music so everyone can get there grove on. All in all a great experience.More

Super fun place for a Friday night on the island. All the tourist get there earlier and locals around 9 or so. We got there before 8 and they had nothing but pork chops left which were okay (fish and chicken should have also been...available). The highlight was the conch ninja which technically is not a part of the fish fry. Giving the rating based on the food. Because of the experience, I do think it’s a must stop for visitors on a Friday night in Eleuthera.More

Beware, the rum Bobby’s are quite strong! Came and had a few rum drinks ($7 each) and the fried fish, and let me tell ya the rum drinks had us on our asses! Was definitely a fun night filled with good food, music, and limbo....Wouldn’t recommend the pork chop thoughMore

What a great time! The food and drinks were fantastic (one Rum Bubba may be enough!), the dancing and limbo were a ton of fun. The whole family enjoyed a great evening out. We didn't get to try the conch salad, but some delicious baked...goods were being sold that we had to try. To hear that all of the workers are volunteering, and that the proceeds go to a good cause made it even better.More

This place is a party! We ate yummy food and danced the night away. The potato salad is the BEST!! The conch salad is alright but expensive...$16 for one small salad.

I read so many great things about Anchor Bay Fish Fry. We bought special outfits to dress up and go hang with the locals. Well...this more of a tourist party than a locals party. There are some locals that join in on the fun but...not like I was expecting. Don’t get me wrong...this fish fry is A LOT OF FUN! Eleuthera does a great job of putting on a fun party for their guest on the island and you definitely need to go if for no other reason the experience and to support the island with revenue. Everyone needs to try a Rum Bubba in their lifetime!! I had the fish and fresh conch salad for dinner. The guy makes the conch salad right in front of you as you order it. It was delicious and I ate it before I remembered to take a picture. My other family members had the pork chops and chicken. We really enjoyed our food and the drinks.More
