The place opened up almost an hour from when it was "scheduled" to be open and then we waited another probably 30 minutes for the coffee and food... but that's just how it sometimes is on the islands and it's fine with me, the very...friendly and pleasant service makes up for that because after all we are all just human and things do come up! The views of the harbour are great, especially when sun hits the water and it's low tide! Their shared parking is fairly small so you may have to be creative on that end but then again the Governor's Harbour is a very small town so the walking distances are short :) FYI there are some clothing inside for sale as well TIP: they accept credit card over $30 total only, otherwise it's cash onlyMore

My partner surprised me on our anniversary with a catered meal by Horatio. Horatio is a great chef and we loved our dinner of traditional Bahamian cuisine including lobster, fish and the biggiest, juiciest stone crab claws with homemade mustard sauce and salad. Dessert was...a decadent triple chocolate brownie a la mode. I love chocolate and it was the best dessert I have had in a long time. Thank you for making our anniversary special, Horatio! I'll be sure to visit your cafe in person.More

We stopped by this location when we first arrived not realizing all restaurants were take out only. Horacio was welcoming and delightful. He informed us of restrictions on the island and let us know he was a chef and could fix anything we wanted and...bring it to us. We took him up on his offer. He brought us pizza the first time. It was delicious. We decided to ask him if he could fix several things to get us through the weekend since there was a curfew all weekend. He brought us everything we asked for a reasonable price before the curfew started. We had several different kinds of chicken wings, Bahamian Mac & cheese, cheeseburgers, rice, etc. it was a hit with us all. Thanks so much Horatio! We loved it!!More

Really wonderful little place to grab tea, coffee, or a smoothy - or even a bite to eat. Friendly and welcoming staff. To the reviewer who noted that they were "out of most everything on the menu" - welcome to island life! The food is...fresh...so things run out.More

The coffee here was quite good and the food was creative. I got a sausage, egg and cheese gluten-free wrap, which was tasty, though had a bit of oil dripping out of it. Another time I had their pesto and eggs topped with beautiful tomatoes...and balsamic glaze, and that was very good. It's a great place to start the morning, in the shade, looking out over the pretty harbor.More

We arrived at this tiny place on the corner near the police station for a bite to eat. Young girl behind the counter was very friendly. My wife and I tried to order but she kept saying we are out of that it became comical...we all just laughed and asked what do you have? Which was a sandwich and a salad which was ok but very pricey for what they have to offer.More

Great coffee and refills are free, fresh fruit like grapefruit and oranges. I had the yogurt, granola and honey which was a healthy portion and was filling. I have also had their muffins which are made there and they heat it up for you as...well. The view is breathtaking, staff very customer centric and friendly. I have also been there for lunch and had their fish taco's which was also very good and good portion of food. Only true coffee shop on the island. Highly recommend this spot, good conversation with others eating there as wellMore

We were in Eleuthera the week after New Years. This time of year was great almost every beach we went to was like have a private beach. What a beautiful Island with so many different beaches. Twin cove, Queens Bath, Lighthouse Beach, Ten bay and...French Leave. Da Perk was right by where we were staying so we stopped by there a bunch. The breakfast and lunch were great. Big portions on the lunch items. And the best gift shop we could find on the island is across the street. Bonus!More
