This restaurant is situated within the Hotel Molina del Puente, and a short 3 minute walk from Bodega La Perla Blanca (see seperate review) and where we were staying, was recommended to us by the owner. It turned out to be an excellent recomendation. The...food was really good, and despite other reviews, the 'homemade' pate was one of the best Ive ever tasted. I had Salmon en croute and my partner had chicken kiev, both were freshly prepared and tasted excellent. We belive English run, very friendly and welcoming with many nationalities eating here, including Spanish (always a good sign !). Excellant value, and you must add this to your list of restaurants if staying the Ronda area.More

Firstly when we ordered there was huge confusion over what was either on the menu or not on the menu. My wife ordered a steak, (650gr), medium rare however, when it arrived it was burnt black at one end and when she had managed to...get some meat from it we think she managed to salvage 100 grams, (at most), the rest was either fat or gristle. We ordered garlic cheese bread which came stuffed in a basket wrapped in some kitchen foil with 90% of the cheese sliding off the bread and yes no garlic taste whatsoever. The prawn pil pil was delivered and yes the prawns tasted ok but the sauce was just a spicy clear butter sauce with no real taste at all. I ordered Pate and all I can say is that IMHO that was not Pate. I have loved Pate for many years and had it all over the planet but this was at best meat paste from a bottle. All in all it was just really poor and confusing they did deduct money for the food that we complained about but there was no excuse for the food that they served, it was awful. Oh yes and one last thing, the waitress delivered the Pate with no cutlery so I had to wait on her return and when I asked her if I should use my fingers to eat the Pate she looked at me as if I was a waste of her valuable time, wonderful. This is one of the very few places I can honestly say that I could do a much better job than the ownersMore

Enjoyed another wonderful evening at La Cascada, Hotel Molino del Puente, Ronda. Can highly recommend booking a table for their Live Music with Marcus Myers and BBQ. Booking is essential as these events always sell out. A brilliant night out thanks to the amount of...effort Ian and Elaine put into looking after their guests. A big thank you to you all.More

What an amazing venue! Such a cute find. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Especially Elliott who went above and beyond to serve us. The food is great! Extremely well priced!

If you're staying in any of the other hotels in the area (or indeed this one), then this is the place to eat. Very welcoming, nicely and originally decorated dining room - it was a bit chilly to eat on the terrace - and excellent...cuisine. Apparently it was a new menu for the autumn/winter season. I had a really tasty chicken liver paté as a starter, followed by the well-garnished cod fillets (bacalao). My partner enjoyed a Singapore salad that was very nicely dressed, with a succulent ox tail ( 'rabo de toro) as a main. Desserts were delicious. Nice house wine and a very reasonable bill. Who could ask for more? Thoroughly recommended!More

What a great way to spend a Saturday night with friends! Hotel Molino del Puente's La Cascada restaurant is the place to go for great live music and delicious food. A lovely family run boutique hotel just outside Ronda, it has a wonderful friendly atmosphere...even with the masked staff and socially distanced tables. We watched chef Ian cook up a lovely selection of fish and meat on the bbq at the end of the large attractive terrace. My husband raved, as always, about the homemade gazpacho whilst I had a gorgeous Asian style salad. Our barbecued steak and trout were both delicious too. Every Saturday night La Cascada hosts a music evening with a variety of singers and musicians. If you get a chance to go there when Marcus Myers, a well known local singer and musician, is playing you are in for a real treat. We have heard him play many times and last night he really was fantastic once again. We are looking forward to returning very soon and many thanks to owners Ian and Elaine for yet another memorable evening!More

I gathered that the owners were away and there was a limited menu. Enjoyed a couple of evening meals there with variable degrees of success. Generous portions but some dishes were poor, the staff were helpful and attentive.

We visited this restaurant twice recently. On the first occasion the a wrong meal was delivered and the decent thing would have been to reduce the bill. Very little was offered by way of apology. We decided to go again and this time a gin...and tonic was delivered which didn’t appear to contain any gin and we were overcharged on the bill. This was reduced when I challenged it. A real shame because the food is very good but clearly they are trying to maximise profits at the customers expense.More

We were looking for a relaxing place to stay for a well earned rest. Well, we got exactly that! Wonderful place, very friendly staff (Maria took care of us very well throughout our stay, a very friendly girl, full of energy and life!) The owners...are attentive and friendly, keeping the place very well organised and the clients happy and relaxed. Rooms are immaculate, comfortable and well stocked daily with coffee, tea and water, (with little gifts left for us each day) as well as toiletries and towels. (Including beach towels for use around the pool area) Breakfast was buffet style with the added extra of freshly made bacon and eggs. Tea or coffee with cake was available to ‘help yourself’ during the afternoons, which was very welcome! We shall return!More

Enjoyed a really fantastic dinner in the courtyard at La Cascada. Really nice ambiance and very friendly owner and staff. We had great cocktails (including very nice virgin mojito since I couldn’t drink) and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend!
