A day trip to Ronda and as i was always on a lookout for traditional food... i ended up reading about Casa Carmen just one hour before i set out to look for this place. Carmen welcomed us with a big smile and i ended up asking her for the famous soup that the restaurant served. To my surprise, it... More

We got the rabo de toro and sopa de picadillo. The food was so delicious and we felt right at home. The rabo de toro was very tender, and both dishes were very flavorful. We want to go back to try the menú del día!

We found the little restaurant with TA , and were delighted for it. It was one of the best dinners we had in our entire 3 weeks trip. Carmen took our reservations and entered the kitchen to start cook it herself. It was really homemade dishes and everything was fresh and tasty. The prices were more than reasonable, and it... More

My wife and Ox-tail and I had Swordfish. Both were plentiful and I would have expected to pay the 15 Euro for these dishes alone. But the... More

We prefer less touristy places frequented by locals that offer tasty and reasonably priced local food. We weren't disappointed here. Great value for 8.50 euro. The place is very clean and the people are friendly. Very local feel to it. Nice and filling. The salmorejo was good. Several meat and fish options with chips or salad for main. The tapas... More

We were looking for somewhere for lunch in central Ronda and found that Casa Carmen was well recommended and nearby so headed in with our 2 children. The staff didn't speak much English but went out of his way to help. When we didn't understand what the two types of Croquetas were, he went in and had one of each... More

We loved this place. Right down from the Hotel San Francisco, in the new part of town. Food was like down home cookin and my wife, who is a great cook, loved their food. We ate there twice and wish we had stayed longer in town to sample their menu del dia. Try any soup they may offer as a... More
