Had some great tapas here - loved the mini bull burger, sardine with puff pastry and fried cod in particular. Also good wine choice and friendly staff. A good mix of locals and tourists and good atmosphere. Would have scored 5 stars but service stuttered when they got very busy - however, still highly recommended and so much better than... More

Excellent restaurant just outside the tourist area. All tapas are reasonably priced and are of very good quality. Service is perfect and they speak "poco" English. Mostly visited by local people. Vers nice atmosphere. When we visit Ronda again we will come back to this restaurant.

off the most visited streets in Ronda, but yet walking distance to everything. A small place with a local atmosphere, good service, nice selection of wines by the glass (many wines from Ronda of course), and the food: dishes, half dishes, tapas... all what you´d expect from a tapas bar in Spain.

The restaurant we wanted to eat at was closed and were recommended to try this place. It was okay. Plenty of food and good value but not sure I would rush back. We were the only tourists and popular with locals.

The Casa Mateos is located in one of the main streets of the city. It is not very confortable because you stay on high chairs and the tables are small. The food is at average level.

The food was unique and we enjoyed with my daughter. Near the old bridges, "Puente Nuevo" but normal prices.

Firstly if you have an opening time, open at that time. Having said that the wait was worth it. After reading several reviews we choose the Pate which was sublime, goats cheese salad which was delicious, lamb skewers and Cous Cous ( not tabbouleh as listed on menu) but who cares it was so good I wanted to order more,... We stumbled across this lovely place on our way back to our accommodation. Friendly staff, good wine, tasty tapas and a very congenial clientele. A treat!

My husband found this lovely little tapas bar from good reviews on an app and we were not disappointed. Our selection of tapas was wonderful as was the service and the two friendly and smiley ladies in the kitchen made our lunch very special.

After driving up the mountain from the Costa del Sol, and settling in at our hotel, we were eager to find a local home cooked meal. Our hotel sent us down the street to Casa Mateos. We LOVED it! My husband ate the chicken and fries and I ate the goat cheese salad. The chicken and fries were "out of... More
