Dating from the early Celts in the 6th century BC, Ronda is one of Spain’s oldest towns. The current Ronda is of Roman origin with Berber, Moorish and Christian conquerors across the ages A 200-year-old bullring, wonderful architecture, a spectacular bridge across the gorge between old and new towns, a strong modern commercial centre and Ronda is pulling in thousands... Stopped by for a quick bite after visiting the Puerta de Almocabar. This restaurant is on the corner across from the Puerta, but there is outdoor seating in the Plaza Ruedo Alameda. We stuck with the traditional type tapas. Picho de pollo (chicken kebab), pincho de gambas (shrimp kebab), palometa con queso (smoked salmon with cheese), tortila de camaron and... More

Really enjoyed sitting out in the patio this evening as the night cooled down. What a lovely spot. The service was impeccable and attentive. I really enjoyed my vino tinto and Por steak although it was a tad salty. All the other items we purchased were tasty and delicious. I would return price are fair.

This is a 10 minute walk from Puente Nuevo Bridge in the old town. Well worth the walk, Options are to eat outside or inside. The service was excellent, prompt and professional. Menu offers superb traditional Spanish dishes. Portions very good size as was the quality of the wine. Overall a very enjoyable evening in 'buzzy' surroundings.

Amazing tapas, pretty quick service and reasonable prices. White wine they serve is really nice and refreshing. Worth trying their roasted peppers, cost 3.50 euros and you get a big plate. Local ham and prawns are amazing. Smoked salmon with cheese is also very tasty. The food was fresh and good quality.

The waiters were attentive and the food was delicious - we had a kabob and tapas and all were wonderfully seasoned. They have an English menu which was helpful!

We came here unplanned as our late arrival to Ronda. It has seating in the terrace, bar and upstairs. We sat at the bar and ordered a sangria to start with. For starters we had the iberico ham and garlic prawn - the latter was perfectly cooked. For mains, we had the grilled Iberian pork steak - it was tender,... More

Very good food & service. COD in garlic sauce was fantastic, lamb chops, shrimp . Crowded for lunch. If you can't get a outside table it is nice upstairs. Locals eat here.

This is our second visit to Spain, and probably our 6th day in Ronda. Quickly realised lots of the best places are closed on a Tuesday so checked TA and Bodega - which was nearby - had a great rating. Ordered a selection of dishes which took over an hour to appear, meanwhile multiple waiting staff wandered around unsure which... More

Disappointed having read good reviews elsewhere. The food was poor - we tried 6 or 7 tapas and raciones from the menu and none were very good. It's not expensive but that doesn't make up for the lack of quality dishes.
