Tucked away towards the end of the Plaza de Maria Auxiliadora, El Campillo is well worth a visit. Food was excellent, reasonably priced and the staff were welcoming and friendly and speak several languages. Entertainment was provided by the cute local cats peering through the window! Try the white chocolate and orange sorbet dessert - it's fantastic!

Great location with a lively guitar player strumming away. That's where the positives end. Food: over cooked ravioli In a tinned tomato sauce that had never seen a fresh tomato. Tapas selection: cold congealed pasta, 1 sad half cold heated up sausage, 2 pieces of dry cheese, 2 pieces of dry salami & a vile concoction of egg, Mayo, tuna... More

We had just finished the climb from the base of the Puerte Nuevo in Ronda and were hot and very thirsty. The owner quickly reorganised tables and umbrellas for our party of 8. The beers were blissfully cold. Six of our eight went with the fish of the day (€10) at the owner's suggestion. It was delicious- light and moist.... More

We have been twice for lunch, The food was very good, but there is also a guitar player in the square that just adds to the delight!. His music is excellent, allowing us to linger over a variety of tapas dishes, good red wine, in a pleasant setting. The staff are friendly, speaking more than one language, and happy to... More

Restaurant is located in a lovely area that is perfect for dining in the evening as the sun is setting. Service was very good and waiter spoke great english. The food was good but was quite expensive compared to other places, maybe paying for the view? You are charged for bread and it was beautiful nice and warm and crusty.... More

We had a lovely meal watching the sunset in this charming square, listening to Eugen playing Spanish guitar. A perfect end to the day. We had the the home grown tomatoes followed by the fresh tuna. Very tasty and well cooked. The homemade desserts were delicious. We had a jug of Tinto de Verano, cheaper than Sangria and much more... More

After trekking around the gorge in Ronda in a very hot morning El Campillo Restaurant appeared, stopped there for cold beer but ended up staying for lunch! Had Iberian Pork Sirloin and it was fantastic! The staff was very knowledgable and friendly, me and my partner enjoyed it so much that we returned for dinner in the evening after walking... More

Hidden away in a small square in the old town, just by the mouth of the path to the Tajo, is El Campillo. After a hike down and UP Tajo Canyon at Puente Nuevo bridge a Good lunch at El Campillo is a must. It's located at the vantage point the Tajo trail. Try The Tapas variety plate.

The vegetables were bitter. The grilled chicken was very very salty and the french fries was too oily and not fried enough. The brad was cold inside, and the asparagus with eggs it's like an omelette but at higher price. I'm not recommend this place.
