We ate here for an early evening meal before returning to our hotel. We chose the 14 euro tourist menu. The starters were ok but my grilled salmon main course was strong tasting and accompanied by tinned potatoes and veg. My husbands whisky tart was a cheap dessert with no whisky. We were served with stale bread that we did... More

Went there for a dinner because most other restaurants were still closed. It was a typical hotel restaurant with average and overpriced food. I had lamb chops which were overcooked and tasteless. And I think the vegetables were from can. The staff understands very little english.

It is only after having eaten there that we have read the reviews and unfortunately have to agree. We ere very late for lunch and, having gone to this location to find the highly recommended restaurant we were planning closed, we decided to go no further and park ourselves here for lunch. oh dear, had we had mobile roaming on... After a long journey we went to the first restaurant we saw. The tapas was very poor, the pasta tasted like spaghetti hoops out of a can. I would never come here again even for free!

We never return to the same restaurant on holidays but we came back here 3 times. On our last night we enjoyed the local red wine with a beautiful mixed paella. The best night of the holiday. Food always excellent quality and service excellent also. Definitely worth a visit!

Very slow service (we spent 2 hours there). The meat is tasteless and greasy and the vegetables arent fresh (frozen type id say). The waiter came once and never came back until we needed to pay.. Our foods and drinks were brought by other waiters. He seemed really careless. Bread was brought before our starters and so we thought this... More

The food here is terrible and over priced. The vegetables in the salad were from a can. The fish was very old and inedible. I took mine to go and fed it to the stray cats in the park. They brought hard bread that we assumed was complimentary, and then charged us 1.50 EUR per person (even though my husband... More

If you are visiting the bridge in Ronda and you want to sit outside only a few 100 metres away and enjoy good service and excellent food then this is the place that serves food all day. Normally when you stick to the Menu of the Day the portions are small and the food not so great but the opposite... More

I was eating at Don Javier because i was in a hurry and I can't look for other place. What a disaster!! Please! if you're not desperate , avoid this place . only sit there if you want to take a horrible image of the Andalucía typical food. Ingredients go from freezer to the table, not fresco. Service, What service?... More
