Very slow service (we spent 2 hours there). The meat is tasteless and greasy and the vegetables arent fresh (frozen type id say). The waiter came once and never came back until we needed to pay.. Our foods and drinks were brought by other waiters. He seemed really careless. Bread was brought before our starters and so we thought this... More

The food here is terrible and over priced. The vegetables in the salad were from a can. The fish was very old and inedible. I took mine to go and fed it to the stray cats in the park. They brought hard bread that we assumed was complimentary, and then charged us 1.50 EUR per person (even though my husband... More

If you are visiting the bridge in Ronda and you want to sit outside only a few 100 metres away and enjoy good service and excellent food then this is the place that serves food all day. Normally when you stick to the Menu of the Day the portions are small and the food not so great but the opposite... More

I was eating at Don Javier because i was in a hurry and I can't look for other place. What a disaster!! Please! if you're not desperate , avoid this place . only sit there if you want to take a horrible image of the Andalucía typical food. Ingredients go from freezer to the table, not fresco. Service, What service?... More

We came here for lunch. I absolutely recommend the place as the food was excellent, the oxtail and the suckling pig were to die for. The gazpacho and the paella were excellent, one of the best we had in Spain.

Strolling through Ronda we came across a delightful restaurant which looked elegant. However, after the waiters arrogance and ignorance we soon came to the conclusion this was becoming a nightmare type experience. As starters arrived I soon realised the food was out dated and lacked standardisation. Mains was chicken and swordfish. Chicken over cooked and dry, swordfish was not fresh... More

We had the misfortune of stopping here for lunch on our way to Sevilla. When we inquired about the food (specifically soup), they basically told us it is what it is. What we wanted to know was whether it was cream or broth. As they spoke good English, I know Spanish, it was not a communications issue. I asked if... More

A friendly, quiet, large and comfortable restaurant which is also a hotel with access from main street (Virgen de la Paz) as well as outside seating at the back. Large portions and recommend the bean and sausage starter, Iberian pork sirloin, house tomato soup

It was cold outside and we needed some rest and warm food. Food was fine. Nothing special, but tasty enough for to be satisfied with lunch.
