Found this charming restaurant in a back street. We were attracted by the colourful paintings and artefacts. The waiter also smiled and welcomed us. The grilled chicken breast was tender and nicely cooked. Loved the glass of Rioja wine. You could have a selection of tapas which some people were having but we decided to have one meal each. Good... We had a lovely night at this restaurant. We were looking for a place recommended on Trip Advisor but it was closed on the night we went. We stumbled across Hermanos Macias instead. It was a lovely warm evening, the sun had just set and there were plenty of people eating outside. I liked the look of the place. We... More

A local friend had introduced me to this bar and I went back alone for drinks and tapas, mainly because I'd already tasted their habanitas con Jamon, one of my favourite things, and made with fresh broad beans here. They didn't disappoint a second time. My salad was simple, nothing special and my scrambled eggs with wild asparagus good. They... More

I make a point of posting only good reviews on TripAdvisor but tonight I make an exception. We ordered wine and then our meals. The smooth looking young waiter ignored us from then on. It became a power game. We asked for sparkling water, received still. Asked for bread, it came without olive oil and was removed before our main... More

Service ok - but food is very ordinary. Wish we had checked reviews before eating here. Salad was watery and it took quite a while before anyone would take our order.

Sadly, we just ate plain badly! Food was subpar and one of our plates had a super long hair in it, the host tried to be nice and ordered another plate but we did not wanted and it just ended being a waste of food, which worsened our experience. Good intentions poorly executed My advice: choose another restaurant, there are... More

The Restaurante Hermanos Macias is part of a hotel close to the Plaza de Torros. The restaurant has a pleasant ambience and looks very Spanish. My wife and I had dinner in the restaurant, because it looked to be a genuine Spanish restaurant. There are a number of menus and we choose the Menu del dia, which consists of a... More

Have been to Ronda quite a few times before and there are numerous very good restaurants in the area, unfortunately they also see fit to charge outrageous prices for their food because of the massive amounts of tourists that the city attracts. I therefore know a great little place that serves awesome tapas at normal prices and is frequented by... More

We usually have a 'Menu del dia' for lunch somewhere, when we are out and about in Spain, but lots of restaurants in Ronda were offering a mixed tapas set menu, so we thought we'd try this busy terrace restaurant. 10 tapas for 2 @ 22 euros, plus 2 small Water and 2 house white, all @ 2.50 euros each.... My wife and stopped for lunch here and found the service to be good and the food overall good. I had Gazpacho then Rabo de Toro, my wife had a goats cheese salad then revuelto de pimientos y patata. There was a reasonable wine list but beware coke comes in a glass filled with ice so you only get about... More
