It's a good place, perfectly located in a quiet street connecting la Plaza de Toros and la Plaza del Socorro. Service is good, prices are average, and portions well served. I enjoyed the 'calamari a la plancha' and my wife feasted on an Ox Tail that was really well made. Local wine is ok and faily priced as well. It's... More

Came here as a family and sat inside in the dining room. Despite not being busy, the service was impressively slow and disinterested. Food was ok. Not horrible. Not that good, either. If you're just looking for something to eat, it should work. If you want something memorable, go somewhere else.

During our five previous days we have eaten jamón iberico every day. So did we at Hnos. Macias. Really lower quality with a of of fat. My meat was tough, my husband's fish was dry. Prices are higher than in similar restaurants. Never again.

This restaurant is located in a side street facing the church. It's location offers a nice shaded area to enjoy your meal without the heat pounding on you. The appetizers were very good but the surprise came with the sirloin pork. It was very juicy and had a good portion. The sauce was superb and served with steamed potato versus... More

My husband and I had a delicious meal at this restaurant. We decided to go with the recommended specialties... bull's tail and pork cheeks. A first for us and we were not disappointed. Quite the opposite. The meat was tender and flavourful. We ended our meal with a complimentary drink of "El Tajo", a local liquor... very nice!

4 of us shared two portions of tapas and really loved it. There was a great variety of things but I really loved the chorizo. Everything else was magnificent. We were on a day trip but when I go to Ronda again I will definitely be eating at Macias' again. The ambiance was lovely too.

We chose the restaurant by reading the menu outside the door, no referral. We ended eating there a couple of times. Good food, wonderful fish dishes, good service, lovely atmosphere. Oh... absolutely reasonable prices. Almost forgot - if you (like we are) not late hours eaters - they open earlier then 7:30-8p.m. for dinner, because the restaurant located (or affiliated)... More

Had a 22 euro sharing tapas platter. Very good value and decent tapas. Wine is also quite reasonable and the restaurant is on the street just opposite the bullring.

My husband and I had lunch here on the recommendation of a tour guide. We ordered the fixed price menu because it included a few local specialties. I had the braised oxtail (bull's tail?) and my husband had veal cheek (not sure if there is a better phrase, but this is what we understood from the waiter's gesture when he... More
