Called many times few days in row and nobody answers the phone. I have no doubt the place is good and so its their food from many previous visits, but their management and staff needs to improve their service skills.
My family and I went to this restaurant expecting the best as always considering we have been visiting the place since the first day they opened. First we called and asked for reservations but the person said they’re not taking reservations at the moment. Then...when we arrived to the restaurant they send us to the interior because “it was full outside”. We asked 2 to 3 times to stay outside during the waiting for the food and they said so many different excuses not to pleased our petitions. Including that we were going to eat fish and the flies won’t let us eat.( who went to a seafood restaurant to eat chicken? ) we patiently wait for the food. The owner was seated in one of the tables near us and never wave or received us. When the food arrived was not a problem but the billed killed us. We have never been there and paid so much for the same food we always ordered. And with the service received that day I couldn’t recommend the place anymore.More
Visited Harbor like I always do every time I visit Rincon. The waitress told us to wait, she was talking (flirting with a customer by the cashier). After ten minutes another waiter came in and told us that the place was close with no apologies...or nothing.More
Good all round and lovely views - my wife’s fish soup was great - seemed like the standout dish. We ordered steaks which were nice. Good service and a nice setting. A good safe bet. Children will like the passion fruit juice. Also dog friendly....Will return.More
Relaxed spot in front of the beach. The food was very tasty and the seafood fresh. Highly recommend the fish nugget appetizer. They are melt in your mouth fresh. My husband ordered a grilled lobster which he got to select from the days catch. Tasty...and tender. Great seafood with a beautiful view and laid back atmosphere.More
After a lovely day at Rincón beach, only steps away, is a delightful Harbor restaurant. I had the Asopao de Camarones and tostones. Oh my, what a delight to my taste buds, served at the most perfect temperature. I love the blend of rice, shrimp...and delicious broth. The Tostones were delicious and crunchy, just like abuela used to do them. Of course the drinks were in good portion and as I said the best Bushwhakers and Orgasms in the area, served by a very friendly and efficient staff. The view of the ocean made the setting spectacular. If you are in the Balneario de Rincón area, please do not dent yourself of this delightful and cozy restaurant. Just leave your stuff at the beach (all within a heartbeat away) and have lunch, dinner or just take advantage of the full bar options at hand.More
First time in PR after 11 years. I wanted to go out with my family and my niece choose this restaurant for us to come along. I’m a world traveler; have been all over and when it comes to food, that’s my area as I...consider myself a good cook. It was 6 of us and the first thing I noticed was that they dropped off the menus and left. It took over 20 minutes before the waiter came to get the drinks order (no drinks menu). We ordered the drinks and a large appetizer plate that cost 24.99. When that dish came, I knew this was not going to end well. The portions, for 25.00, were a joke. We had to wait almost 90 minutes for the food to come out. I was so happy to finally have a shrimps stuffed mofongo! It was ABSOLUTELY disgusting (wish the picture can talk). It was like a round piece of green plantains thrown in a plate with some weird tasteless broth and they threw like 6 boiled shrimps on top. What a joke! After one taste, I called the waiter and returned it. The owner, who is someone I went to school with, didn’t even have the courtesy to come and apologize for that and for the fact that we complained about the waiting time and the place wasn’t even crowded. The waiter had the audacity to ask me how much tip! Zero; from top to bottom, the WORSE so called restaurant I have been to! My family felt the same way; they all had a fish fillet on a special sauce and it looked and tasted as if they boiled the fish and threw some sauce on top! What a DISAPPOINTING! Please, unless you want to wait an hour and a half for your food, a waiter that tells you food will be ready in 3 minutes and it’s 17, tasteless food; don’t waste your time and money. As I said, I’m a world traveler and I don’t care how much I spend in food as long as it is good food!More
