We have been going here for years, we have never had anything but a great meal here. The food is totally awesome, try the churasco. Best on the island, so is the mofungo. It is all good, always our first stop when we fly in. Will be there in four weeks.

The food was okay, but a bit pricey for the lack of taste. Service was good, the woman who served us was very nice. You can get better food for almost the same price at La Cambija.

I wanted to eat at a local place and decided to try Rincón Tropical based on the reviews. It was a good choice. The service was quick and friendly and the food came in large portions. Great value for the servings. We ordered the grilled skirt steak, arañitas, caesar salad with chicken and the chicken alfredo. The restaurant was "open... More

We stopped here during our roadtrip on our drive back to San Juan; we ordered lunch to-go and could not have been happier with our choice, we got a lot for our money. Their food was just right, we ordered an assortment of mofongo, rice and beans, sweet plantains, guava dessert, and we sat outside, just next to the bar,... More

Quick service, great shrimp and rice, amazing sweet plantains, uneven skirt steak (one time tender and tasty, one time tough and tasteless).

Good food, friendly service and reasonable prices. Pumpkin cheesecake to rival Cheesecake Factory ! Had the mofongo with broth , the octopus was tender and delicious . The Piña colada was homemade (not from a machine). The churrasco was tender and cooked as requested.

The place where we stayed in Rincon recommended this place. It is back in a parking lot from the main drag, Route 115. But, that meant it had plenty of parking. It was a bit run down, but, in some ways that added to its charm. The waitress spoke English as well as any American and she was very attentive.... More

We came here in January, 2015, and my review was "eh... just ok". We came back to Rincon this month (January, 2016) and came here twice. The food was awesome both times and the drinks were perfect. They are never very busy, so, the service is attentive and helpful. The steak Mofongo was SO good, and generally, everything we ordered... More

The restaurant was very clean, for being outside. Pablito was very friendly and helpful. The Seafood Soup was delicious! The Shrimp and Rice a definite must! It was also, walking distance from Villa Cofresi (which is also on my Must list). When you're in the neighborhood, passing by, make sure you stop in. You will definitely enjoy it!

My wife and I had mofongo - mine was the steak, hers the lobster, and my daughter had the mamposteao. We all loved the food, and the down-scale decor and locals eating there made us feel like we were enjoying an 'authentic' PR experience. And the price was good too. Highly recommend it.
