Might be our new favorite! Very friendly staff, attentive service. Our server recommended the chicken stuffed with mofongo with a guava, bacon and mushroom sauce which was fantastic. Fun bar menu too! Can’t wait to go back!

Just driving around Rincon, we decided to give it a try. We did not think much until the first bite. I gave the "Masriscada" a reluctant try and boy was I surprised! Everything from our waitress Amalia to the young and humble chef Gabriel, who I had to thank personally, was really delicious.

We went to this restaurant this past Saturday at night time. And even the place was very busy, the service and food was great. We were a group of 7, each one order different menus and we all were talking of how delicious the food was. The employees were more than attentive. Highly recommended!

If you read my reviews, you know that I tend to favor quality and I rarely have negative things to say. This is one of those exceptions to what we had hoped would be a great experience. There is no pride of authenticity, no interest in serving quality food and it is sad to say that we had no joy when dining at this establishment. The experience was a dismal attempt to cater to unsuspecting tourists with low-grade quality and nothing fresh. All you have to do is look at the plates on which the deep-fried meals are served and it tells you all you need to know. Save your money and your palate, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

The portion sizes are really good and it's cheap. The flowering trees are pretty for outdoor seating. The drinks are strong, but seem to be artificially flavored (I wished it was made with local fruits). We had the mofongo with fish and mofongo with fried chicken. The fish was awesome! Tasted fresh, nice batter. The fried chicken, on the other hand, was dry and not very good. So I guess it depends on what you order?

We were looking for a place to eat and saw the Red Flamboyan announcement on the Internet. We could see the menu online and it had affordable prices plus a wide variety of dishes. The service was good and we got our drinks and food promptly at our table. I would definitely return.

Ordered the Mahi Mahi cooked in parchment with vegetables. The piece of fish was the size of a hockey puck and had the texture of having been previously frozen. The fish was dry and tasteless. There were only 3 or slivers of vegetables in the order. Sad to say it was the worst meal I have ever eaten.

We were staying in Rincon with family for a week and stopped at Red Flamboyian for dinner one night and it was one of the best dinners we had on the island! Authentic, great food, great service! Our waitress Yahira was great. More than half our table wanted the red snapper so she told us they had a 7lb snapper that would be better instead of individually all ordering and it ended up such a hit with the table. Definitely something we will never forget! Also the coconut mahi mahi is amazing. Will always be back when we are here! Oh also - drinks were amazing too!

We were a little concerned about what we were driving to, given the winding, narrow road to Red Flamboyan. It was well worth the trip. We both ordered mahi mahi: my spouse ordered the version stuffed with shrimp and I ordered it breaded with coconut sauce. Both entrees were flavorful and filling. Plantains were also delicious. Our ceviche camarones appetizer was OK, nothing exceptional, and our frozen Flamboyan cocktails were tasty. Service was attentive and pleasant and Marangelly did a great job of answering our questions about different entrees. Overall, a delicious, enjoyable meal. We plan to go back to Red Flamboyan on our next trip to Rincon.

Looking for a Puertorican rustic place for dinner in the west coast, Red Flamboyan is the place. Excellent quality food, awesome appetizers, cold beers, wines available by glass or bottle. They follow the Covid-19 protocol so sharp. The Mofongo, fried breaded chicken parts, fried pork, rice, skirt steak, red Snapper fish, seviche, lobster and much more!! If you're in Rincon, don't miss it. Fully recommended!!

The Red Flamboyant is a casual Puerto Rican restaurant on the water in Rincon, PR. We have visited several times over the past few years and it is consistently good food and drink (love the Yellow Flamboyant !) and friendly, courteous service.
Open windows give a beautiful view of the Palms on the hillside overlooking the sea.
Highly recommended dishes are the Fried Red Snapper (best I have had in Rincon), the Mahi Mahi in Coconut Sauce and their steaks for those who do not enjoy seafood.
On our last two visits Yahira has taken care of us and has been so attentive and friendly she added to the enjoyment of our meal.
Try the Red Flamboyant for terrific local cuisine, served with a smile and a view.

We ate here when we visited Rincon in July. Ceviche was absolutely delicious. Mofongo was great too. Cocktail drinks were delicious. Only complaint is they need to contain the termites or bugs that fly at night. We attempted to eat here on out first night and it was so bug infested we had to leave. Maybe screen in the outdoor porch. Definitely recommended.

Just got back from eating here tonight. Arrived about 6:50 PM and were seated immediately, then no contact. At 7:20, I asked the bartender if she could have a server come take our orders. At 7:30, one person from our group went across the restaurant to talk to the server. He came and took our order. We got our drinks at 8:00. Entrees came not much later. We never got the appetizer we ordered.
To be clear, this was not the server's fault. There were only 2 servers for about 30 tables. They were working their tails off. No, the fault is entirely with management for not staffing appropriately.
As for the food, three of the four meals were outstanding. The fourth-mahi stuffed with shrimp-was way overcooked, to the point part of it was too hard to cut with a fork. Not good for Mahi.
I will not be back, and we would not recommend this place to anyone.

We were on our way to the beach when the children began asking for breakfast. We stopped at the Red Flamboyan and were certainly glad we did. One of the girls had the creme brûlée French toast— what a treat. I had a dish called waffle bowl with scrambled eggs. The eggs had ham and veg in them and was delicious. We also ordered crab cakes Benedict and waffles with Nutella and bananas. Service was hood and very friendly. If we weren’t at the end of our vacation we would definitely return.
