This bar and grill was a fantastic find. It is the only genuine German hiking restaurant that we have enjoyed anywhere except Germany itself. With a limited menu of selections cooked from scratch according to Grandma-from-Austria's recipes, we could easily have ordered one of each, please. The daily special was a delectable stew, which we promptly recommended to a guy who couldn't decide. He gave it five stars as well. There are plenty of imported beers to choose from. The decor, German beer signage, and surrounding pine trees give Munich Haus genuine ambiance. In the warmer months there is an expensive beer garden terrace that features live music. Gotta go back for some of that action!

Went to Munich Haus for lunch. I ordered the Pork Schnitzel sandwich($7.95) which had Black Forest ham and Swiss cheese on fried Schnitzel. Also ordered Cucumber Salad($4.00) and a German beer. The Schnitzel was tasty and filling. The Cucumber Salad was refreshing and beer reminded me of Germany when I was there. You ordered at the bar area, picked up your meal at another stand and ate outside. The service was very good.

We visited for lunch on a beautiful afternoon. Lovely back yard with a reasonable amount of tables and seating.
We had the brat and a polish sausage. Really really good. The German beer selection is limited but more than adequate.
Not so good was the Reuben balls--way too much dough. We ended up breaking them open and peeling off 1/4 inch of dough to get to the good stuff.
Friendly service- you order and then sit and wait for the kitchen to let you know when your order is ready.

When we arrived around 5:00pm on a Sunday, we were the only customers there. This should have been an indication of the food. Now we wish we would have taken that indication. Worse food. No idea how they call it German food. We sat outside and never had any staff come to see if we needed anything. Will not even mention the menu because it is not worth the effort to bother. All we have to say is, this is not a restaurant that we would ever recommend or go to again.

What a disappointment. We love freshly fried crunchy on the outside savory and tender on the inside schnitzel. These guys sold us soggy microwaved leftover schnitzel with a bad flavor like too old kind of taste. We also had a pretzel which tasted wrong somehow. Out of three different mustards none were palatable. The only good thing was the cucumber salad. We were sooo let down.

Our reception at the first bar was excellent! Because customers must interact with the cooks, my review tumbles. The female cook was rude to both customers and staff, so much so, as manager I would have fired her on the spot. Male cook responded to my query about how soon we'd get our food (notably delayed); female cook gave a "I'm going as fast as I can" kind of response! But, that wasn't my only observation of her behavior, or I probably would have written it off. In restaurants, service of any kind is important to keeping customers. Front service excellent, back service tells you much more about the business! Sorry, I won't come back. And, the food isn't all that good either. Beer just fine!

Had an amazing experience here. The customer service was phenomenal and the food was excellent. We got the rueben balls (which were fried to perfection), the polish dog (with the delicious homemade sauces), and a bratwurst. We love supporting local businesses. Can’t wait for the restaurant/beer garden to open! Everything was delicious. The people were awesome. We will definitely be coming back!

This place is one of the best food trucks I’ve had in so long! My fiancé and i each ordered a polish dog, Ruben balls, and soup. Let me tell ya the Ruben balls were to die for, soup was amazing(i could eat it everyday), and the polish dog was of course just as amazing as everything else. We did not leave one drop of food. My fiancé said after we left that we should of ordered Ruben balls to take home with us 😂 Try this place out and i promise you won’t regret it!!

this is a very casual place. for now it is all outdoors-
there are picnic tables with umbrellas in a large area in back. but- the food is just excellent! polish hot dogs, 5 kinds of mustard, great cucumber salad and delightful apple strudel. going back as soon as possible!!

When the weather is right, there’s not a better place to enjoy a bratwurst and beer on the patio than here. Good food, friendly service and a nice vibe. My only complaint is that they don’t recycle glass bottle beers. As a side note, sadly there isn’t anyone in Pinetop who recycles.

We are so lucky to have an authentic German beer garden here in the White Mountains. Great draft beer and German snacks. You need to try the Spaten on tap! So good!! Service is friendly and prices are reasonable. Can't recommend enough!

Best appetizer I’ve ever had!! Period. I took the advise of the staff, glad I did. I didnt even think I liked sauerkraut but I must now. Wow!!! These Reuben Balls have converted me. They told me when I ordered them that I was lucky cause I was getting the last order for the day. Lucky!! Darn right. I’m making sure I get there early next time so I can be sure to get some. Besides the balls, my brat was awesome, washed down with a German festbeer and I took an amazing pretzel for the road. Cheese sauce was delicious.

If you don't want sausage or beer, don't eat here. Soup was OK, potato salad poor. Plus I really hate to pay full price to eat off of plastic.
