We stopped by for a coffee. We ordered coffee with milk. The coffee had a bitter and burnt taste as well as a strange smell. We were sitting outside when one of the waiters started to set up a terrace parasol right next to our table. Without a word, he started to push my chair and then he opened the... More

We sat in for a quick coffee around noon. This was a mistake. Their coffee is horrible not even describable. Also after we nearly finished a waiter came with a parasol. Without asking anything he started to open it, banging it to my wife's head. After thay he started yelling at us to be careful... No comment. Will never ever... More

Nice interior setting. Rapid and efficient service. Generous portions of tasty food. Excellent value (11 euros for the lunch menu, which includes bread, water, wine, salad, first and second plates as well as desert (or coffee).

We had breakfast here and I believe they used the cheapest ingredients in everything. The oil didn't even have a taste. Maybe the lunch is better as everyone seems happy with that in the reviews but I wouldn't recommend it for breakfast.

Second time in Cuenca we have lunch in this place. The lunch price is 11 euro for entries, main dishes and desserts; two sets is enough for me, my wife and 3 children. Spaghetti bolognese and lasagna is very good ;)

Everything was fine. We had the 15€ menu and enjoyed it all. Staff attentive and helpful even though they were very busy.

Our hotel guy recommended we try this restaurant. He is a friend of the cook. As it is located on the main tourist plaza I was skeptical. The food was surprisingly good and the portions more than my wife and I needed. Let me say that I have become used to overcooked pork in Spain. My pork was tastier than... More

After excellent meals in Madrid and Toledo, we were looking forward to another great experience with Spanish cuisine in the historic town of Cuenca. After an uphill climb to the town square, our appetites were ready for a nice treat. This restaurant offered outdoor seating with a view of the plaza and the cathedral. We ordered morcilla con arroz, calamari,... More

A nice restaurant in the plaza mayor. The food was good and the service excellent. I would not come out of my way to eat here. We wanted to eat lunch in the plaza and wanted to sit outside. This restaurant offered us both options. It also seems that locals come to eat here!

Thank heidi h
