We enjoyed our first lunch here so we went back on our second day in Cuenca. This is a busy restaurant and one would benefit to make a reservation. We didn't and waited 20 minutes for a table each day. Food was good, included 3 courses, 1 litre of drinkable house wine, water, bread and a extra salad to share... More

This was our first evening meal out on a bit of a Spanish road trip. We stayed at the nearby NH hotel and picked this one as close by. It was easy to find on the main road but we sat inside because we didn't want to eat by the roadside! Very friendly waitress but our limited Spanish wasn't that... More

Great food, great price! Try one of the menus and you got salad, 3 awesome first dishes, awesome main course and dessert. It's not in historic town but it's totally worth it.

My wife and I had lunch here on a Monday. I am a regular visitor to Spain and am very familiar with the standard lunch menu. I would like to commend this restaurant to visitors to Cuenca for its excellent Menu del Dia, which included a salad along with the first course. We both had Emperador a la Plancha (grilled... More

We were 3 persons and were given a table of 2 that had 4 chairs on it. There were other tables available but we were told they were reserved. During our whole stay(which lasted for the whole service period)the larger table was not used. They set up the table with large plates that could barely fit on it and offer... More

Well we just happened to walk past thus place and it looked inviting. We has decided to eat light so thought some salad and meat pate and maybe a small fish platter. Well the salad for 8€ was more than enough for two as well as the pate. The fish platter. Well that was €15 and you could easily feed... More

Busy local bar and restaurant serving good food. We ate there one afternoon off a menu del dia which was excellent value. The stars of the meal were huevos corral (eggs on top of sliced potatoes cooked in a lot of olive oil - sounds simple but it was delicious) and arroz negro (rice cooked with squid ink, startlingly black... This is up in the Plaza just over the bridge. Jim wasn't willing to go out to the one further in to town, but could see the wisdom of one offering 10 E /per person (including house wine) restaurants nearby. El Coto was well reviewed and justifiably so. Other than having the be-bop music a bit loud for the few... More

I really liked the place and the environment. Service was really good and waiters were really friendly. Overall the food was good. I recommend it! Do not try beef!!!You have to taste paella and drink resoli (something like black ssambuca) and crema (something like Baileys).
