The Parador is located in a renovated palace and the restaurant offers views across the valley around Zamora. The meal was very good - with a wide choice of meat and fish dishes and service was fast and efficient. A very pleasant meal in an...More

Stopped by for coffee and had lovely welcome. Great coffee and at surprisingly reasonable prices. Great building too.

One of the worst meals we've had in Spain. Glutinous school canteen type slop with sour faced serving staff just like dinner ladies dumping the food on the table. Stale bread rolls with butter in individual plastic containers that you would get in a cheap...More

Food was poor. The choice was difficult and the menu hard to read in Spanish such that one night I had a hakes head for dinner when I thought I would get hake and the next night bean stew with offal!

Recently stayed here for 1 night. I have found that the restaurants in Paradors never dissapoint. Local dishes using fresh local ingrediants and reasonably priced local wines. Whats not to like?

We had a simple meal of pasta, veal tenderloin and ice cream that turned out to be sublime. The veal was perfect and delicious, the ice cream with honey was better than any I've ever eaten with an amazing texture and depth of creamy flavour....More

In my opinion you take Paradors with a pinch of salt, sometimes a large pinch. Service can often be very impersonal and brusque. On our one night stay in this Parador, we were pleasantly welcomed, had a nice room(although their rates are somewhat high). Courteous...More
