Good value meal. The €15.95 meal is varied. However beware uf you have the 'scampi' all you get us 5 giant prawns. If you have the fish platter it is huge as is the entrecote steak which was beautifully cooked and tender. The house red at €7.50 a bottle is a young Sirols- local Emporda wine - which is comparable... More

We happened upon this restaurant while walking through the series of narrow retaurant and bar filled streets that back onto the beach. It looked OK the menu seemed fine but the food was nor up to scratch. my wife's first course was warm in parts cold in others and sent back. Her prawn dish consisted of the smallest prawns we... We sat outside to eat, which was an experience for an English family, and chose from the 9.95 Euro menu. The selection was good and the food quality was good too - especially for the older family who only like simple (English based) cuisine. There was plenty on the menu for the more adventurous, and all good value. Service was... More

Looking for lunch along a lane full of restaurants and had the good luck to choose the Granyela. Decided on one of the several choices for set lunch and like other reviewers was pleased with the quality and value. Whole experience was topped off by the friendly and most gracious attention given to us by the owner. Highly recommended.

We had been looking for somewhere to have a light lunch, but decided to try the €9.99 menu at this restaurant. It includes wine, olives, bread and water. I had pate for starter, then Hake, followed by a creme Catalan. A pleasant meal and good value.

Four of us had the ten euros fixed price lunch and the food was quite satisfactory. They somehow manage to give the customers a decent choice of 3 courses and include a glass of wine and bread as well. Well worth a look.

Passed the busier place next door and chose this due to the TA rating, despite it being quiet. Had not intended eating as cheap as possible but the 9.99 menu seemed to offer all we wanted so why pay more? We both had Spaghetti Bol to start and it was just the right amount and very tasty. Followed by chicken... More

Very friendly staff, pleasant surroundings, and good food made for a very pleasant evening. We decided to go a la carte, but the menus on offer looked good as well. Starters were OK, but nothing special - musclos marinera and some rather bland paté. Mains were a lovely, very well cooked fish, and a very nice veal fillet. Excellent bottle of... More
