Very good food, excellent service and the owner was very nice & charismatic. Great atmosphere and cozy traditional music in the background. Highly recommend for traditional cypriot food.

When arrived at the restaurant no one smiled or greeted you at the door. Very traditional looking tavern but lacking any decent service. The food was awful, octopus was overpriced and overcooked and chewy. This is not a place I would recommend to anyone wanting...a decent meal.More
Very friendly staff, delicious greek food, moderate prices and great atmosphere. Definitely worth going!
Superb! Everything was just perfect, wonderful evening, suggest to book table beforehand, Great service will be back for sure!
From start to finish we had a wonderful experience. We were warmly welcomed and had to wait for a table as we hadn’t booked. It was 6:30pm and the restaurant was already busy so do book! It’s a traditional taverna and it felt like there...were lots of local family and friends dining there. The plant based options were good and the vegetables tasted fresh and sweet. It felt like the restaurant took great pride in using local and best quality produce. Even the house wine was lovely! The service was excellent. We would have gone back if we were staying longer.More
The food was excelent. You must try Tavas Lamb, It is a local dish. The personal and the deserts werr the best. It’s a must when you come to Ayia Napa. The best local food.
If this place is not yet on your list "things to do before I die" you should put it now. An absolut must! The taverna does not only serve authentic delisious food but also represents a great piece of history of this most beautiful Island....Ask Marios for what is not on the menue! Go for the surprise, you will be delighted!More
We had dinner for two. The selection of starters was disappointing. The main course of lamb cutlets and a 'typical cyprian' lamb stew was OK but lacked taste. It generally lacked the quality and care we so much appreciate in Greek cuisine. Service was attentive...at first but that slackened significantly as the restaurant became busier. We were especially put off by the behaviours of a number of tourist clients that we found quite impolite but the staff seemed to go along with it. Not a nice experience.More
Beautiful range of dishes on the mezze, already cooked to perfection and ideally sized between two people. Great service, authentic atmosphere and very reasonable prices
The vegetarian platter was the best dish I had on Cyprus. I counted up to 15 different things in platter for 1. And all so tasty. The best was fava. Vine also very good and price of the dinner was quite cheap for the pleasure...I got.More
They came highly recommended and visited them on my trip to Ayia Napa. And really they do NOT disappoint! Service, food and prices are excellent here and you are ensured you are stuffed when leaving. Service: They really make you feel at home and do...not rush things, however keep a keen eye if you are in need or good to go for next course. No time is wasted here and ever so friendly. If you need information on a course or item on the menu you get a really good explanation to even mini courses how it's made 😁 Food: Don't have words other then absolutely delicious, just go visit them to understand what I mean. Hope to see you soon again!More
We went as a family and booked a table checking if they did a vegetarian meze. They certainly did there was a cheese thing that was deep fried, still cold and frozen in the middle, they served fried eggs in with boiled potatoes, a chargrilled...piece of courgette, a chargrilled tomato, a baked potato chopped in 2 and chargrilled, 1 small chargrilled mushroom each - I think you get the picture and charged us over €20 each 🙄 There were lots of nice things on the menu such as Greek pastry with cheese and spinach but non of that appeared. We were totally disappointed and gobsmacked at the price for tasteless chargrilled veg.More
This taverne is the best on earth! We were here about 100 times in the last 36 years! Every evening a great evening! You should only go there!!
We took 3 mixed meze, one pasta and one lamb. The fish was tasteless, dry and overcooked. Same with all of the meats we ate. The sauces were okey. Friendly service but horrible planning. We got a main before the starter. And then they reheated...the food and gave it back. The rice wasnt even cooked. A lot of the dishes felt like they were reheated. Overall BAD.More
We went here last night and it wasn’t such a good experience unfortunately! To start with prices outside when you look at the menu they are not up to date … around 4 -5 euros more per dish .,, We had the meat meze which...it wasn’t as expected… a few selections of meats… pork was very tough, very little lamb no lamb chops … a bit of sausage… , one kofta .,. Al in all not great . Our son had fillet steak … which was a disaster… could not cut the meat it was tough as rubber after we order it medium done … put it that way it was not a fillet steak just a cheap piece of meat … they brought a new one … too late … The family had fish meze it was ok … but after 2 hours … we all finished… they brought another fish dish …it’s a bit chaotic… waited half an hour for our bill… All in all we will not return… we had high hopes but hopefully we will find a better one …More
