One of the waiters had a rerrible behavior, unbelievable! And the worst thing.. I think he was the boss there. He was uncouth and brusque. One of those people that you come across in the greek army. I hope that it was just his bad...day. He doesn't deserve to work there...More
In the remarkable Cultural Centre we found this to be one of the prime eateries. An added bonus is the long all-day opening. After a most enjoyable exploration of the campus we sat back and enjoyed a fine lunch. Choosing tasty mains followed by a...shared dessert, with coffee and cappuccino, all very appetising. Perfect and relaxing spot at the main entrance of the SNFCC park. Coffees, drinks or snacks available at reasonable prices or one can just hang around in the self-service tables.
In the Stavros Niarhos park in front of the canal you may have a rest at the Canal cafe. It is located at the entrance where the information desk and the bikes are also spotted. In a hot day we preferred staying indoors. The ventilation...is so high that you forget the overwhelming heat. The prices are rather high but this is not a surprise, it is a hot spot and this is Athens prices. Overall it is worth visiting. It has healthy snacks like fresh yogurt and fruits. Very reasonable price and good quality for such a great location overlooking the artificial lake. We decided to buy the pre-made food to avoid the queue for the custom made items. Had a 5 minute wait to get a table.

All day cafe restaurant (take away and sit-in). Service is good and friendly. Small menu makes it easier to decide. Dishes look small but in the end its difficult to empty them. Ι think all 3 dishes we tried were delicious. The place is family...friendly and little noisy (evening). Mostly young people and fewer elderly. Nice view to the park and canal.
