It was absolutely delicious and staff were extremely attentive and very good at what they did. Would book a table there again for sure!

this was our fourth visit to the restaurant. as usual everything was perfectly executed. the service is excellent. the food tends to be sometimes a bit too complicated tastewise within a dish but great anyway.

The three Michelin star restaurants also rated in the St Pellegrino top 50 is clearly in the worlds top league. The place, service and food are amazing. Specially the service level was astonishing. The food is modern and complicated. Sometimes maybe little too much, it is difficult to recognize all the used ingredients, textures and tastes. But it is still... More

Sensations of taste and structure. Art on your plate. A once in a lifetime experience. We had a 8 course dinner and the 5 course Status Quo (including wine and espresso). Unfortunately one of us had to drive home, so for him only water. The service impeccable and formal. The quickness of the following courses could a bit slower. We... More

Our yearly Michelin tour now here. Real three * Michelin. Expensive but worth it, interesting wines. Having visited almost all Top 10 places this is on the high side. 5,5h of dinner ended up without anything more not filling in. Book early!

Went for lunch in this very nice setting. We were surprised with 2 dutch speaking and very friendly waiters. We had lunch for 135 Euro, including waters, a glas of Ruinart Rose Champagne. 4 courses, many amuses, friandises, coffee. The winepairing was ( from memory) 60 Euro for very good wines and very generous served. It goes too far to... More

It was an excellent fine dining experience. Make sure to leave time, as it was about 3 hours all total. We did the largest tasting menu, with the wine Pairing. Well worth it. Service extremely knowledgeable, nice surroundings, the food was near perfect. Excellent. Would visit Germany again just to dine here.

World-class food served by a friendly and professional service brigade. Expensive (within Germany, even by 3 star standards) but worth the money as Joachim Wissler is a chef at the top of his game.

I've never been to a restaurant with such a horrible service. I and my wife were very bad treated. Food is nice, but it is not worth the bad service they provide. They do not know how to deal with international credit cards, so they tried 5 different cards of ours, they were insinuating we could not pay (our cards... More

Had the most fantastic, dazzling, refined, unforgetable birthday dinner ever!!! The 20 Course Menu (we devoured the large culinary journey) were sooooo mouth-watering I need to stay away of gazing each picture I made during the dinner. Oh well, the Master and Maestro himself went to our table too! What a loving and down-to-earth gesture from such a 'big' man!... More

Description
"German gastronauts are well aquainted with the interior of Vendôme, the famously 3-Michelin-starred restaurant located inside the Grand Hotel Schloss Bensberg in Cologne. The restaurant itself look like a rather well kept Prada store, understated and chic with splashings of sage green and discreet ruby red, and the glossy gourmet crowd are enamoured with the acclaimed menu created by super-chef Joachim Wissler. Star dishes include the calf's head in a parsley-horseradish vinaigrette wild celery and aioli of capers; the grilled saddle of lamb from Müritz with green olives in lamb tea and ricotta gnocchi; and the Manjari chocolate fondant with frozen blackberry foam. Vendôme boasts a 900+ wine list.
