I can safely say that it was one of the best Indian meals I've eaten in a long time. The staff were great to. Would definitely recommend

Having dined at this restaurant previously and having been impressed by the food we booked for their 6 course taster menu evening at £45. It was a disaster. The food was awful. In particular the Mulligatawny soup which was a clear grey colour and tasteless accompanied by three very small pieces of chicken on a kebab stick. The King Prawn... More

My partner and I decided to come for a nice Indian. I haven't been before and was pleasantly surprised from start to finish. Staff were very welcoming, the quality in the menu and decor was lovely. I am not a very adventurous curry man but the menu was very good, explained things nicely and allowed me to order something slightly... More

We'd heard about this restaurant and finally got the chance to give it a go - we were not disappointed. Lovely restaurant, great food and excellent service. We live local so a couple of weeks later we decided to try the take-away service. Delivered on time after a slight miss up on location but food was very good. We will... More

We'd avoided the Ruchi for a while as we felt it had gone off the boil but after returning last weekend I've got to say it's right back on our list. Service has always been good but our meal was both delicious and pretty good value. No need to travel to Uttoxeter any more. Well done to Raff and the... More

Very smart location with good size parking to side/rear. Service was very attentive with food served at a good pace. We had the valentines tasting menu (£30 a head) along with recommended drinks (Pink Champagne and Rioja). Overall bill for 2 around £60 which was reasonable. Menu attached. The food however, on this occasion , was slightly bland and the... More

We've been twice in the last couple of weeks - once with friends and once with the kids. On both occasions the food and service have been fantastic - genuinely the best Indian restaurant I have been to. Great with kids - adapt the food to suit - and waiters look out for them too. Totally recommended.

The Royal Ruchi is fantastic! We loved our leisurely dinner there. The food, the service, the atmosphere ... Perfection. We enjoyed some of the highest quality Indian food we have ever had anywhere. From the delicate Seas Bass starter to the Malbec wine to the Rajastani special bhuna the food was incredible. The service. So smooth and dignified we were... More

Went with friends in December, this was a first time visit for the majority of us and will definitely not be the last. The food was delicious, service was excellent with a lovely atmosphere. We found the whole experience very relaxing and staff were very welcoming. Looking forward to my next visit.

We went to the Royal Ruchi for a birthday meal on a friends recommendation, and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is beautiful, staff very efficient and friendly and the food is excellent. The choice was extensive and we struggled to choose as we wanted to try everything! Would definitely recommend the Royal Ruchi and we will be returning very soon!
