This has to be up there with some of the best Thai food I have ever had. Prices were reasonable and quality and presentation were top notch. We had none of the service problems that others mention. I would say definitely go and give it a try.

You can't beat Papaya, a local institution for all of the Thai lovers on the Lower North Shore. Excellent food & great value for money. Nice decor. It does get very busy on the weekends in particular so be a bit patient or allow a little extra time. We dine in or out nearly every week & visitors always comment... More

I must apologise to the staff for ruining their evening - they made it pretty clear they weren't interested in the patrons at the restaurant -we weren't the only ones having trouble getting any sort of service here. The staff were absolutely brilliant at walking with eyes down and not looking at the tables - they held special powers of... More

Ate here just prior to going to see a movie across the road. Service was prompt food good, however staff very officious & curt. When we ordered diet coke we were not given the option of a can. We were served 'bottled coke' which was flat. We then asked for a can which was brought. We also ordered jasmine tea... More

We had some good Thai food, that's pretty much it. The service was really good, the food was fast, hot and yummy.

I actually enjoy the food here and do enjoy their red duck curry as a home delivery. But i asked for plastic cutlery and when the food was delivered (it took longer than normal), there was no sign of any forks etc. Takes some of the enjoyment away when they are in too uch of a hurry to think of... Lovely restaurant with excellent, well priced food. Can BYO wine and there is a bottle shop a few doors away. Curry Puffs are excellent.

Good atmosphere and very tasty food. Not the most comfortable chairs and not much room in the restaurant, but worth a visit for the food.

We came here on a Friday night at 6pm before going to watch a movie at The Orpheum. They only have BYO but there are 2 bottle shops at walking distance and the corkage is only $3 per person. We ordered the curry puff for entree and it was delicious. However, at this point we start to get too much... More

Opposite the fab Orpheum cinema. Nice and quick before a movie. A cut above the average suburban Thai. Great value for money. Excellent takeaway and home delivery. No need to book.
