This is a well kept restaurant with excellent service. The raw oysters were great but the garlic breaded oysters were amazing. I had the seafood chowder- delicious. I want to go back to Ireland just to have another meal there

You'll need to drive there if you're staying in Galway but it is well worth it. The food was excellent with prompt and attentive service. We had fish and mussels which were fresh.

We stopped off on our way from Dublin to Clifden for lunch & the 15 minute detour was well worth it. If you've never tasted Oysters then this is without doubt the place to have... More

15-20 minutes drive from Galway city, but very much worth taking the time to visit this authentic pub/restaurant. They serve amazing grilled oysters and fish & chips amongst other things.

We stopped by and had clams, chowder and of course the oysters with Guinness . Very fresh and generous portions. Service was attentive and prompt. Wonderful character and full of history. A must visit indeed!

Lovely setting and food. Visited for lunch with family. Our open brown bread sandwiches were fantastic and the kids meals were just as good. Would love to visit again.
