I had a poor experience in Rock Salt a few months ago. I am very pleased to say that they are back on top of their game. Service and food is excellent. Still can't go past the ravioli starter - everybody in the group started with this and then we meandered through the main courses, no complaints just smiles and... More

Rock Salt is located in Quamby Place and it is not a location you are likely to just walk past. There is ample parking and the location is convenient - Noosa Parade . There is a good wine list but you can also BYO. Corkage for 1 bottle for 2 people was $8.00. My husband and I decided to have... More

I had 2 entries and no main for dinner. Started with Bug ravioli in a lemon butter sauce which was well plated and delicious. Next were the lamb ribs with hoisin sauce, see picture. Since there were 6 ribs I did not lack quantity and the quality was outstanding. Also had hot chips with an aioli dip and nicely done.... More

Bug ravioli: outstanding. The duck not quite on the same level, but nevertheless very good, the lamb ribs likewise. Indeed, our family of four tried eight different dishes and there were none that we would not order again. The portions were generous and well presented, but what made this a memorable occasion was the service. Wait staff who knew their... More

Love it, love it, love it, BYO and child friendly. Amazing food at reasonable prices. Every time I am on holidays I go here at least 2-3 times. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Noosa without crazy Hasting Street prices. Check out the duck its to die for. PS If you have kids they can run to the nearby... More

still has it. rare that we pre book days out. So glad did we did. Shredded snow peas with the fish is my recommendation. Eating early in Noosa is the norm so don't be surprised if the peak is 630pm. Love it.....

Have been once before and wanted to take my partner this time. Again, the duck did not disappoint: a massive serving, cooked to perfection, with crispy skin. Sides (greens and potato mash) were generously portioned. The mash was a standout (recipe, please!). Ask for a table overlooking the park--it's a peaceful and, even though the tables are close together, private... More

This restaurant has great food, attentive staff but the best part? It's BYO! There should be more of them...being able to bring your favourite wine not only enhances the overall dining experience but it's more economical and who doesn't like that? My only criticism is that the location is a little obscure - tucked away in a shopping centre, with... More
