Need I say more. Years ago we had a old greek family that had the fish and chip shop in town, best battered burgers. On Sunday at Torquay beach there was a guy a dog, ask him for a fish and chips recommendation, he said the place in gilbert st, greek people. I though ohh this should be good and... More

This place makes pretty good fish and chips but the only problem is that 85% of the time we have ordered and picked it up, they have left something out.

Good feed with better than average fish and chip shop. We have tried a few of the fish and chip shops for our fortnight meal on the beach. This is one of places that we think offers some of the best value.

Very ordinary..... soggy chips and soggy batter! Also a very meagre portion of chips. We were very disappointed having been for a long beach walk and we were hungry.

Title says it all. We knew we stumbled on a great thing when the place was packed. Be prepared to wait but it's well worth it. Crunchy chips with a fluffy potato centre. Nothing was oily. Potato cakes were cooked perfectly. Hamburger was delicious with fresh produce used. When in Torquay this will be the only place we eat lunch.... More

Visited here on a Saturday night. They were busy with a line out the door. They were pumping out the orders in 15 minutes. The place worked like clockwork. Perfectly cooked fish and chips. For a family of four the family pack was perfect. Very happy.

Popped in for fish and chips, very happy to see the fresh fish sitting on display ready for cooking. Cooked quickly, was a little taken back when I heard the price, but we had ordered 4 pieces of grilled whiting and it was to die for. Only negative would be the whiting was filleted incorrectly as it still had bones... More

Always get a good feed here & well worth a visit if passing through. We don't often get fish & chips when out & about as you can never be sure what you are going to get, but we never have that issue here.
