Great to find somewhere in Port Fairy where the owners provide first class service, first class food and first class coffee......Bangers and mash and ploughmans lunch were great.......Coffee was perfect......The owners are obviously proud of the way they run their business........ Other cafes in Port Fairy should take a class off these owners on customer service........ Call in next time... More

We ordered the winter plough mans which came with "Mulligatawny Soup" which is a fragrant soup, spiced with curry & all the usual suspects associated with Indian cooking, what came was a chicken, vegetable & barley soup. We also ordered scone of the day,Stilton scone with a little Stilton on the side. The1 scone had no hint of Stilton baked into it,the Stilton... More

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We are obviously very sorry for what seems to have occurred. Mulligatawny soup is an English soup, based on Indian origins. Our Mulligatawny soup is home made from a very old recipe and we admit that we are careful as to the volume of curry infused in the soup. Yes, barley... More

We enjoyed the best Devonshire Tea of our one month inter state drive holiday here at Clonmara Tea Rooms. The Spicy Pumpkin and Date Scones with Salted Caramel "jam" and cream were superb. There was a VAST range of teas (as you would expect from a Tea House) available and we thoroughly enjoyed our pot of tea for tea. The... More

After staying overnight in the cottages we decided to breakfast in th tearooms. As with the cottages we received a very warm welcome. Instead of breakfast we decided to have Devonshire Tea with one of the special scones as well as normal. They were beautiful as was the tea. Well worth a visit.

We dined in a large group but food was still fast. Mulligatawny soup was a hit and the kids loved the pancakes. The scones were lovely - recommend the salmon scone meal. Great relaxed garden atmosphere outside.

After staying at cherry plum cottage, we decided to have breakfast in the tea rooms. Although the tea rooms offered a nice range of breakfast dishes, we couldn't go past the scones with jam and real cream. Flavour of the day was cranberry and orange with blueberry jam & cream. Both this & plain scones were delicious with plenty of... More
