This is my second visit to this restaurant, the first time was good, this time was awful, before we even sat down we were informed by the waitress what food was off the menu, felt like she was giving us a chance to leave. We were a party of 4 and after ordering our food our coffees arrived, one of them... We arrived in Katoomba and we were starving! Had researched this café and wanted to give it a try. WOW so glad we did. This café is wonderful. The service is wonderful and the food is wonderful. Two of us are Gluten free and there was so much to chose from. Would highly recommend this café. Can't wait to go... More

Unfortunately the food was disappointing! The actual steak in the Steak sandwich was the size of a McDonalds cheeseburger, not worth the $22.90 price tag. My daughter had the kids calamari and chips, again the food was disappointing, the calamari was like eating rubber bands. Our whole experience was shocking due to the chaos within the staff not handling the... More

Decor was a bit odd,the food was okay but way too overpriced. To be honest I didn't really enjoy this cafe and would rather go to yellow deli around the corner

I wouldn't patronise this place again. We waited quite a fair bit of time approx 40 mins for the food to arrive, and the fish was raw in places. Per fish set is $20.90 and it isn't exciting for the dish to come served half raw ... Service from the floor waiter was half hearted .. I rather you just... More

The couple in front of me and I were both given the 'we're closed' while they were still serving people in a mostly empty café. Other friends have said the same thing, they close/open on a whim apparently. The couple ahead of me were really upset as they driven up from Sydney, specially. I'm told, if you can catch them... I had wedges and the hubby had steak for lunch. The steak was very large but mostly fat. Fresh juice was nice but expensive. Cheap wine by the glass. Nice to sit outside and people watch. Was busy inside

Was impressed with the service, but wished i'd scanned the menu prices before sitting down. I had the plt - pancetta, tomato and lettuce toasted sandwich which was nice but at least $5 overpriced. Wont be back for a meal but will come back for coffee or tea as they support the suspended coffee initiative which I like.

I went there with my daughter and we both had the house rosti which I would recommend. The prices are higher than what I expected. I felt sorry for the waitress as she was the only one serving and it was flat out. Ok, but nothing flash.
