This place never disappoints and we love bringing our interstate visitors here. What a great idea to serve local or state sourced food and drinks. The cheese platter is our favourite. Chilled vibes every visit, with live music on Sunday afternoons.

Fortunately we were staying two nights at Echoes because it turned out the restaurant was closed the first night. We would have been disappointed to miss out. The food was great, steak being rated as one of the best my husband has had, decor lovely. It was busy but service still could not be faulted. Highly recommended.

A really nice place in terms of location and the building etc. Would recommend coming here for lunch - it's an a la carte menu (not fixed price like dinner) and the views are special. Price was fairly high (we paid $30-35 each for a pie and lasagna, more for meats) but the food was very nice. Worth a visit.

At $115 for three courses Echoes really needs to have a reality check. Entree and main were passable but really you're looking at a $15 entree and a $35 main. Dessert was absolutely rubbish. My wife had the only gf option which was sorbet and ice cream in a 90's parfait glass. The flavour pairings were something an excited toddler... More

My partner and I had dinner there and you have to get a minimum of 2 courses which will cost you $89 without beverages and without sides. In this price range you expect excellent food and perfect service. The food was "okay" I wouldn't say over the moon. For entree I had a vegetable stack which was good and for... More

Amazing food. Some of the best I have had, and would happily return to this restaurant. It isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for.

The staff was very attentive and, depending on how you booked, breakfast is included in your rate. All hot food is made to order so it is fresh. It was great. The views during breakfast, amazing as your tables all face the valley. We did Dinner in our room to enjoy the view and private dinner alone, that food was... More

The food wasn't as good as the restaurant seemed to promise. The service was not friendly and we felt rushed during our meal. Atmosphere was not up to standard.

We did not stay at Echoes, but had breakfast there one morning. Window seat overlooking the blue mountains. Very quick, efficient service. Large, well cooked hot breakfast, plus lots of continental options. Would certainly go again.

The restaurant is well positioned with views over the escarpment and valley. However we booked for an evening dinner where the views were not a factor in our choice. With a 7:30pm booking we found the three course meal rushed resulting in us paying the bill and exiting at 8:30pm. The quality of the food can be best described as... More
