Having tried unsuccessfully to get in one night, we booked for the next night. This is good pub food. My husband had the duck and I had the salmon special - both delicious. Service is friendly and efficient.

I visited Katoomba for 4 days/3 nights Our group actually wanted to dine in the main Carrington Hotel. They didn't have dinner on the nights we needed dinner but suggested we dine at their other restaurant, just to the side of the exit road to...More

I had seen previous reviews of the Old City Bank Brasserie on Tripadvisor, so recommended to friends that we dine here. The restaurant was clean and spacious, with a more intimate setting up stairs. Between us we enjoyed the Guinness Pie, the lamb and the...More

Food punching way above weight - congratulations chef! Lamb unbelievable, steak so tender, scallops perfect. Wedges the best I've ever tasted! Excellent service and lovely setting. If you're nearby, you have to visit.

This place was recommended by our friends. We dined upstairs. Place appeared clean and was busy. We dined 'famous' beef pie, porterhouse steak and lamb. Food was delicious - pie had a rich flavour, lamb was tender and steak was cooked well. Side salads with...More

We at I the bar downstairs as they serve meals for dinner from 5.30pm. It was busy so we we glad we got a table at 5pm. Service was warm and friendly and meals were reasonably priced and yummy. We'd definitely go back.

The sort of place locals go to when other places are full. Food average, service ok, music too loud. There are many places like this in the mountains. No ambition and happy to take the tourist dollar. We should do better though.

Love this place, but this time it was packed and you could not breath. The food was still high quality. Shame, better go when there are less people around. Quality and staff still excellent. But o so busy.

Absolutely excellent: the menu has been upgraded over the past couple of years and the current chef is doing a great job. Sure there are the stale items like burgers and porterhouse steaks, but there is a lot more... More
