A Jindabyne institution (and a winter favourite of mine) nestled up the back of Nugget's Crossing Shopping Centre. Great food, warm, cracking atmosphere and reasonable prices considering where you are. You can't get much better than that. Never had a problem with either inferior food or inferior service.

Average. Very average. No GF pizzas, didn't pit olives in pasta, service was suboptimal and over priced for the rsl quality food.

We thought we were lucky when we arrived and didn't have to wait for a table, as the place was packed. But we would have been better off being turned away and going somewhere else - anywhere else! The food was incredibly overpriced - $15 for two pieces of garlic bread, and $30 for a bowl of crappy pasta! The... More

Dreadful experience - thank goodness we were with adult kids and not littlies!!!! Has a great atmosphere - we waited for 20 minutes or so for a table for 6 - no worries. We were seated and then waited for another 10 minutes for a waitress to come and take our wine order. Again no worries - when we then... More

Showed up on the night and asked for a table of six and were seated in minutes by Mario himself. The place was packed and had a great vibe about it. Very warm, so had to shed a few layers, but it made everything that bit more comfortable. The food took a little while to come out but with the... More

First time visit with our two children. The service is fast. The staff were friendly. There is a kids section to entertain the kids. Pasta bolognese is quite decent. Food potion is big.

All the items in the menu are overpriced. Furthermore, when we asked for the bill, it took them 10 minutes to gave it to us. They added items we didn't order!!!

Hugely overpriced, $28-30 for a simple pasta or pizza dish. Is supposedly Italian but the menu had very basic list of pizzas, I asked if they could do a Quattro formagio, but they said they couldn't do anything "off the menu". The only cheese on the menu items was mozzarella and bocconcini :(. Eventually I ordered the spaghetti with mussels,... More

Margarita pizza for $28, even fettuccine pesto costs $27, and they don't even allow for "off-menu orders". My husband would have loved a cheese pizza, how hard would that have been? Not allowed... I asked for water, and the waitress said, tab water is at the bar for me to get myself. Really? For a meal twice the price of... More

Was looking for a nice Italian restaurant to celebrate our daughter's 11th birthday and found Mario's Italian cuisine. Atmosphere very cozy and warm. Everything looked ideal to spent a special moment. Unfortunately, disappointment started kicking as soon as we started seeing that other tables before us were being served. As a result we had to complaint for their negligence especially... More
