Dropped in here with my wife for lunch and had a hamburger with bacaon and cheese and my wife went the healthy option and had a salad sandwhich on wholemeal. Service was good and typical atmsophere for a takeaway restaurant cafe. The hamburger came out and it was a great size. The bun was fresh and the burger was like... More

There is not much open in Cooma on a Sunday night in October. But this cafe was. I visited back in March and I didn't really want to come again, but my friends were keen. I stuck with a pot of english breakfast tea and raising toast. My friends got the steak sandwich and the hamburger. They were happy enough.... More

A group of us stopped here for breakfast after an early start from Canberra. This place is definitely the small town 'coffee lounge' style of the 70s and 80s with big serves but not very healthy. You can have eggs any style, so long as they're fried. You get your choice of white toast, or white toast, and of course... More

Staff greeted me on entry. I ordered a milkshake and it was beautiful. The decor of the cafe needs a bit of a spruce up as it is looking dated but cannot fault the service or the price.

Got a very warm welcome. Even called me 'dear'..... Food is quickly prepared. It's good valve. Resturant is very clean, pleasant and organised. I liked the service. Good down to earth country town warmth.

This used to be the hub of Cooma, always full with great meals. Busy Sunday afternoon and a sign on the door said take away only, closing at 3 pm. Are you kidding!

When visiting Cooma have breakfast at the Tourist Cafe, delicious Bacon and Eggs, with grilled tomato and toast. They make your coffee exactly the way you like it. Friendly staff are only too happy to accommodate your wishes, also try their Cinnamon Toast.
