Well that's a surprise! Set in the heart of Ashfield which teems with Asian restaurants is this tucked away, value for money, calm restaurant. Upstairs from the pub it's quite a revelation. Excellent service along with a a rump steak and a beer for lunch for $10!! Pretty good food too.

The restaurant above the Croc Farm Hotel has lovely decor. Entrance is best from the side near the Mall otherwise you go through the pub and walk over a large glass panel with a huge crocodile (fake) underneath. The service is ok. The food is fine. Good for a Friday night drink, some nice chairs. Small outdoor area.

Every time I went to this pub I felt relaxed. It's never to packed and the bar staff are friendly. Pokie room is nice and small. Have a game of pool, it has good pool tables.

We didn't know Ashfield at all and were seeking something that would suit all members of our mixed age group. No shortage of places to eat in Ashfield but Crocodile Farm Hotel provided us with exactly what we wanted. The service was great - Friendly and efficient. The meals of four different choices from the menu were excellent and a... More

This is one of the best places to eat in the area. The croc pub is nothing to look at from the outside. Inside and upstairs and you are greeted with warmth and friendliness by staff. The food is sensational. The Coopers pale ale is crisp and chilled and brought to your table. My country visitor was most impressed.

$10 steak with a drink purchase was great value. Steak cooked to perfection (medium rare) with minimal amount of fat. Meal comes with fries (fries not chips just so you know) and coleslaw with choice of sauce. Staff friendly and attentive however certainly not a place to 'dine' in ,more for cheap pub grub and then on your way.

My partner and I just moved to Ashfield and stopped at Crocodile Farm Hotel for a date night. The service was great and the food was amazing. The chips they served us were huge and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was nice and the lounge area upstairs was very relaxing.

Had a great steak there, at a good price, $10. Sides were great too, French fries and coleslaw. The place is very pleasant and comfortable. It was really empty, so didn't have to wait for a table and the service was great and fast.

We had dinner at the Crocodile Farm on Tuesday night, there was a trivia game happening and so even though we arrived late we were allowed to join in. I have the crocodile red curry, which was interesting but not authentic Thai. The Salt and Pepper squid was divine, the coleslaw that cam with it was so tasty. The staff... More
