We went to Smoke house on 21/12/2020 to dine and from the moment we entered we were greeted and seated in the most pleasant and welcoming manner possible.
The waiter assigned to us ( Givannio ) made us feel more than welcome while guiding and assisting us with deciding on what to order.
I even remarked to my wife that if this gentleman was a salesman he would have sold us the whole property.
In a matter of minutes we got a delicious checken soup and when we finished that
we had our order in record time considering the number of patrons at the time.
I had to ask if Usain Bolt had anything to do with the ownership or management of the restaurant.
The food was execllent ( we had curried goat and fish)
The service was excellent and the ambieance was great
Waiter Givannio stands out ( very good choice by management}
Based on my first time experience I will recommend this restaurant to everyone I know.locally and abroad.

Me and my husband decided to try out plantation smoke house because some of our friends travel to Jamaica and went there and said that the food and service there was remarkable. So then we went for my birthday. Upon arrival we were greeted by Giovanni Mcbean and he asked if we were dining and we said yes and we could pick the table of our choice main, court or upstairs so we choose court yard because inside was a bit cramped. He was so polite and wel mannered spoke so fluently, he even pulled the chair he told us what was available, top selling and veggie dishes. We had Fish Tacos, BBQ wings, Full Rack of BBQ ribs and Stuffed Salmon with Roasted Sweet Potatoes. While waiting for the Entree he was so entertaining playing his Air Guitar to the R&B songs echoing the beautiful restaurant, decoration are assorted to the T’ he he offered to be our paparazzi and took some memorable photos from the acute of angles. Entree was excellent every thing done to the correct temperature delicious.
Our dessert was the banger plate decorated so gracefully and the symphony of the lovely staff voices truly marvellous see you next year.

Our dinner started out with them blowing up our balloons for us..nice.. but then was annoyed by the $1200 for opening a bottle that we brought... besides that our food was good however my family member ordered goat and got the imported version he was disappointed in that . My stuffed chicken was lovely and done to perfection and the vegetables were awesome. The staff sang happy birthday to not only my grandma but qlot of other patrons celebrating their birthday the same day and that was a lovely thing to behold. They upheld all our requests and catered to our needs.. was a great experience.

Our party of 5 stopped here 4/15/21. While the food and atmosphere was very good, when it was time to pay the bill it stated the total amount in US $120.00 with a service fee included.
That was good, but the server demanded $29.00 extra. Trying not to make a scene we paid and left. We will not be back.

We’re happy to know that you enjoyed the food and our restaurant environment however we’re really disturbed that you felt you were forced to leave a tip. Gratuity is included in all dining tabs and tipping is NOT mandatory. I’m assuming that this is an isolated incident and will meet with the staff to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Thanks for your patronage!

The location is wonderful, the ambiance is okay. The menu works, except the food needs more care in preparation, and taste. The service not so great.The grilled Salmon was oily and overcooked.The sever tried but clearly needs more training. He brought me my bill before I asked or was even ready for it, thus closing out my evening. They took our placemats before we were through, because they didn't have enough. I was worried that they would asked me to leave how often they checked if I was ready to pay. There is potential but has not yet been realised.

Certainly 3 adults can't be wrong....... we won't be back ..... if you going to wait that long for food it should worth the wait. From TV and just entering the property it surely whet the appetite for something good..... service delivery fell on the floor, Food, nothing special, value for money not good at all

This restaurant was recommended by my friend who is a Juta Tour operator. After viewing the menu on-line, I knew I wanted the butter fish. It was my birthday and my wife wanted us to visit since we heard it was good. Arriving on June 29 with my family, dinner was busy of course, Hostess seated us on the upper deck in a timely manner. The servers needed help, service was poor, she was trying to do her best but one server couldn't handle that volume. The worst part is that after ordering Butterfield and getting all excited, to my birthday surprise it was a piece of Swai fillet. Chef- really who serve Swai fillet in a restaurant as Smoke house and advertise in your menu as butter fish.. that's so wrong, all it had was pepper.. my sister in-law Salmon was over cooked. My son said his burger was worst then Mc Donald's.. Luckily my Wife enjoyed the Jerk pork and festival.
I'm not sure if I will return.

I attempted to eat here last month and they had nothing smoked (only curry goat and oxtail was ready after 12pm - who does that at a smoke house?). This time however, they had everything on the menu except ribs (still disappointed but perhaps 3rd time might be the charm). The food was ok. I had fries and a burger. The Mac and Cheese looks baked in the picture on the menu but it wasn’t - it’s ok. The chicken soup was tasty, vegetables were cooked just right and big chunks of chicken. I will make a review again if I finally get the ribs on my next visit.
The decor is lovely and I imagine that it is even lovelier at nights. It is wheel chair accessible. The rest rooms are clean. The staff was courteous.

Honestly if I could have given this place zero stars I would, I had the worse experience and our server was so rude and unwelcoming. We started out with wings and the lemon pepper wings were so salty and the Buffalo wings were under seasoned, my utensils were dirty and when I told our server she was giving attitude like I had no reason to tell her. Our food took over 30 minutes and the place was not busy and I won’t even speak on the drinks. Kenisha if you cannot be pleasant with everyone then the service industry is not for you.

I was experiencing what I would call a lazy Saturday and even though I live only walking distance from Plantation Smokehouse I still couldn’t muster the energy to go grab some food.
I decided to use their online order option and the site was superrrr easy to use and the food was delivered in no time.
We ordered quite a few items and OMG I now have more than enough energy to go scream their praises from on top of the world.
The curried goat, oxtail, jerk pork, Mac & Cheese and may Favorite Grilled corn were all on point.
This restaurant is a must visit and even if you are quarantining you must order.
I also like the fact that they travel with a card machine so I didn’t have to go get cash.
100% Satisfied

I love food and a good night out so naturally Plantation Smokehouse was a must!
Immediately I am taken by the beauty of the place, the details and the design are unique and definitely something to talk about. The hostess for the night Sasha has the most welcoming smile, she was extremely polite and had us seated quickly. The menu was impressive and the food was delivered in record time. My pork chops were perfectly cooked and everything else was as sumptuous as it was appealing to the eyes. There is nothing I would have changed about my experience.
I will keep coming back until I have exhausted this menu!!!!

Mr Brown has once again outdone himself. Plantation Smokehouse has an ambiance to die for, service delivered with a smile from ear to ear and the food is amazingly delicious. Menu covers both vegetarians and meat lovers. A MUST VISIT.

My friend took me there last night as a belated birthday dinner and my first impression was that it’s very lit. The ambiance is superb, awesome view and the food and menu options are amazing. Our server was very polite and he checked on us quite often 👍🏼, I had requested my favorite Smirnoff Ice (Guarana) and to my surprise they actually had it A+. I’ll definitely be taking my family there soon. Oh and the restrooms are clean and fresh 🙌🏻

I can’t speak to the whole menu, because we visited the Plantation Smokehouse as part of a cruise excursion and were limited to the jerked chicken with rice & peas (local name for red beans) with a veggie side that was sort of cole slaw/sort of a salad. It was great. Absolutely one of the best meals of the trip. The seasoning was so good with a little kick, and the sauce on the side was sweet with a sneaky heat.
The restaurant was open air and clean with clean restrooms. Staff was friendly despite dealing with multiple vanloads of people from various cruise excursions.
My only complaint was that the drinks were dramatically overpriced. A rum punch that had been $5 in a much more remote area was $15 at the restaurant. The drink was good, but not as good or as strong as the $5 one I’d had at a tourist trap an hour earlier.
That issue aside, I’d love to eat at Plantation Smokehouse again. It was so good.

My second time dining. I am impressed with the overall decor of the grounds the location is ideal for singles and groups. What really stood out for me is the menu the restaurant caters for locals and foreigners all age group. The menu consist of jerk chicken pork,oxtail,curried goat,stuff chicken breast ribs,steak and shrimp,grilled salmon vegetarian dishes,burgers just to name a few. The food was awesome and the customer service was excellent. Team work make the dream work wonderful job guys.
