The best place. Get away from the big time hustle of Marrakech into the Sahara. Really nice. Extraordinary musicians from francophone sub Saharan nations give a very memorable experience. And go ride a camel. Wow. No walk in the park. Those were robust people back in ancient times. The guides are very adept at hosting, particularly excited I am from California with some New York area connections. That’s Moroccans two favorite places, along with Boston area for some reason. Of course France snd Spain historically, but cafés restaurants, barbershops and shopping malls often have California and New York themed names and products.

4 Days Sahara Desert experience

Camel tour and Camp in Sahara booked through Desert with Hamid. We had an excellent experience last year with a 3 days trip from Marrakech to Merzouga. But, the time we had in Merzouga and Sahara felt so short. So, we decided to go back this year. We found on net Desert with Hamid. We booked our whole stay in Merzouga through him, and ot was perfect. 2 days in a camp and 2 days at a hotel. During all the days we had activities like camel ride, quad, 4x4 days trip with visit to the nomads and the lake that was there now because of the rain. Lunch with berber pizza, grill and home in a private house eating Couscous. It was just an amazing experience If you would like some one to arrange something for you when you plan to go to Merzouga and Sahara we will highly recommend Hamid. He is available 24 hrs a day on Whatsapp So when he takes you to a camp you can be sure he will one of the entertainers as well. Also check #DesertwithHamid for ideas.

Special taste experience...

The setting is nice but my taste experience was a disaster. A salad as a starter, with the chef's surprise of a larva on the plate. I reported it to the waiter who informed his supervisor. Apologies from the latter but that it was not my surprise when paying. My salad was included in the bill even though I had barely touched it. They won the prize of a salad but they lost my trust and a customer.

Very null service, more than 30 min to take the order by several servers, because the first to forget our order, and 30 min more we had our order (Thank God). The lack of smile and hospitality for some people there (message to the restaurant manager). Without forgetting a waiter who was polite and helpful but for the rest it is horrible.

Very nice food, good size of plates, wonderful view

I really enjoyed the time in this restaurant, it was way better than I expected. I've visited quite a few places in Kenitra but this is without a doubt one of the best ones. We had seafood, some Asian and Italian dishes. Everything was tasty and the size of the plates are really good for the prices plus they offer an excellent view right on the beach where there are no people these days. In my opinion a real good restaurant with everything you need, so an easy 5-star rating.

One good meal, one not so good meal

A Mixed bag from our meals here. This is the most well-known and rated restaurant in this sleepy little beach town but also a little higher on the price scale as well. The portions are huge and we came here on the night we arrived and ordered WAY too much food. A couple of Caesar salads (one is enough for two people easily), a seafood platter and the salmon filet was our order. The seafood platter has a great selection of fish and calamari but was easily enough food for two or three people. The salmon filet was also quite large. This first time, the preparation was good, the seasoning could have been a little better. The second time we ate here was not as good – poor preparation and quality of product being the issue. Overall, hit and miss for the food, so consider your options as there are many along this street.

Only Resetaurant that I would recommend

It's clean here with a great view of the beach. It has a no smoking area down stairs, which is very popular. The seafood is well presented, however I am a Vegi, so it was Vegi Pizza for me. I also had coffee here a couple of times, which was good but you can get good coffee at other places as well. If you are worried about hygine in Mehdya - here is your best bet.

good food, clean, service and beautiful ocean views on the top floor. I highly recommend. Enjoy, there is a beautiful beach in front of the restaurant as well as several other restaurants and cafes

The variety and quality of the food is excellent. Service is exceptional, and you cannot beat the views, and atmosphere, accented with beautiful artwork, and traditional Moroccan accents. Don't miss a chance to feed Jack, the resident African Grey Parrot!
