Good, old-fsanioned pub

Stopped off for lunch. Great staff and food. Would like to return for dinner when a more extensive menu is available but my burger was delicious!

My parents live near here and so it is their local and we've been here many times. Our parties have ranged from small to large and with and without kids. I cannot speak highly enough of this pub. The owner and staff are wonderful and friendly. They are very accommodating and always try to please. The atmosphere is great and... More

10 of us went for a Christmas meal on a Saturday night in December, there was a nice feel to the bar but we were sat in the restaurant area, no music, no atmosphere. the food was good value and well presented, though the waiting staff seemed to struggle putting down and picking up plates. when we asked for some... First of all i am disappointed you had a bad experience here but i must point out a few facts We certainly were VERY busy and all our tables were booked. We always try our hardest to accommodate and perhaps if we can move some tables around, but unfortunately on the day we just couldn't. I spoke to the front... More

A real pub with good buzz as soon as you ooen the door. Staff acknowledged you straight away and had a happy additude when serving customers. Good real ales on tap plus local ciders. Several other well know brands of ale also on tap, and wide range of bottled beers and ciders. I had the Dave's IPA, 4.3%, from Cornwall.... More

Slightly off the beaten track but the beautiful countryside and good food and drink made it worthwhile! Food a little pricey but top quality and decent portions - maybe a few smaller options could be added to the menu to suit younger or 'not starving hungry' visitors? Good range of ciders too.

The first time we tried to find The Three Horseshoes we got slightly lost. But it's well worth persisting until you find it. This is a genuine local pub but with the added benefit of outstanding food. It's everything a country pub should be. Still welcoming for the local community, still unspoilt, still serving good beer. But with the added... More

Really lovely pub, and excellent cask cider. The staff very friendly with good bar snacks. The only reason I didn't give more stars was it took our food over a hour to arrive and by then a little too many drinks had been consumed to fully enjoy it! Also some orders were wrong and some of our party had to... More

Thank you for the good review and glad you enjoyed the evening, a little disappointed you felt you waited over an hour for food but glad you enjoyed the drink! A cracking Monday evening for us with a short notice booking, booked for 12 perhaps 14 ended up 16 with a few turning up late. An hour from initial ordering... More
