Quality home cooked food. Locally sourced produced, including great Real Ales [very well kept!]. Plenty of dining space including a relaxing beer garden which was separate still to the smokers courtyard. Service was friendly and efficient. Defiantly would revisit if ever passing again. Slightly off of the beaten track, but well worth seeking out. Ample parking in their own car... More

Friendly service, good beers and ciders with great food. A varied menu with daily changers. Well worth the trip to Batcombe.

This is a great pub. Lovely creative local menu, and the roasts are really good value. Staff are friendly and helpful, decor is welcoming, and the garden's lovely for the kids. Like the extra touches: traditional pork pies on the bar etc.

Having recently purchased a taste my self and my Fiancée decided to visit the Three Horseshoes, we had heard good things and it was on the list of pubs with 2-4-1. First thing....it is a nightmare to find, do your maths before you. Once we got there we were welcomed and shown our table, unfortunately this table was right next... More

Daryl I am disappointed that you didn't have an excellent time here but thank you for the praises. We do not take tastecard. We did trial it in January but it didn't work for us and we have been asking them to take us off their website repeatedly. When you booked, this would have been explained that we do not... More

We ended up in the Three Horseshoes because we couldn't get into somewhere else. I was delighted to find that the menu was imaginative, interesting and catered to my incredibly obscure needs. The salad was out of a local garden and the broadbean, pea and halloumi fritters I had were also locally sourced (although probably not the halloumi I suspect!).... More

I have just returned from The Three Horseshoes, it was great, end of June, cold, wet and windy and the Landlord had the good sense to light the fire in the bar.........lovely. A few pints of Veltins, a glass of wine a very good beef burger and a ploughman's, not to mention bottled water and a decent coffee, all in... More

We came here for a small family celebration, the general layout of the Inn is ok all be it lacks in atmosphere. The food is good and we did like the difference and variety. The service however was lacking and did not match up to the quality you would expect, at best it was slap dash. Did we leave a... More

We visited as a group of 4 and had a lovely evening meal - good mains although the portions could have been a little more generous and the brisket a little dry - excellent puddings. Nice sitting out area and friendly staff

Group of friends visit regularly for food or drink. Ales always excellent. Bar staff good. Manager friendly. However in the last six months the food has noticeably dropped in portion size and quality. £12 for a burger and chips is pricey especially when the kitchens runs out of salad and doesn't tell anyone. My friend had the couscous salad except... More
