I've been going to Rush Munros since I was small - and the icecream flavours have expanded since then but still remain excellent! Consistent and memorable, I would recommend a stop and sit in the garden.

The best ice cream in Hawkes Bay has to be Rush Munro's. The little shop and garden in Heretaunga Street is well worth a visit, there is a pond in the garden and it is a great place to relax whilst eating the many different flavours of ice cream that they have to offer. My favourite is the maple and... More

Rush Munro's has been in Hastings forever. This is the sort of place you always take visitors to, or drive to on a Sunday for a treat. The old fashioned painted wooden seats and tables are original as is the little garden and pond with goldfish. The ICECREAM is all natural with mostly locally grown fruit flavours. But wait there's... More

Rush Munro's can't be beaten for ice cream... for as long as I can remember, well over 50 years ago, their ice cream was worth queuing up for! The flavours were always the best!

Who doesn't love ice cream. A quick stop on the way back to the airport. Service was quick and friendly, delay was on my side on what to choose, so many good flavours. Double cone but maybe I should have ordered the churros or the sundaes that I saw being delivered to the surrounding tables, arghhh, so much choice so... More

If you love ice cream then you will love this traditional NZ fruity ice cream experience. My favourite, Rush Munroe's Maple Walnut Sundae, with maple walnut and chocolate ice cream. Always great on a hot summer day, take a break, enjoy the shade under the trees, and take your favourite person, adult or children along, always good, always tasty.

Have been coming to Rush Munroe since I was a kid. Having thrown in coins into the fountain, i still love coming here every summer for an ice cream. Love how the ice cream still taste exactly the same as it did back when i was a kid. If you go, I recommend getting a table in the open garden... More

Try the maple walnut sundaes or feijoa ice cream. Sheer bliss! The passionfruit sodas are also sublime.

If you're after an ice-cream of a special flavor and of good size then this is a must place to visit when you are in Hastings - you can either takeaway or sit and eat in the garden seats provided or under cover . This place has been around for years and the ice-cream is so good. Also Sundaes and... More
