Beautifully cooked fish 'n' chips, which were very tasty and not greasy. Great portion sizes providing value for money.

We really enjoyed the fish and chips from Crusty Crab but they have a wide range of takeaway foods available and there are picnic tables for general use down on the waterside.

These fish and chips were nicely cooked. The chips weren't soggy. Two pieces of fish was crumbed and one piece was battered and we tried Hoki and two other types of fish.

Probably picked the wrong time to pick up some F&C. They should tell you ahead that it will be taking 45 mins to get your order. Not after you paid for it. Staff seemed completely in a panic and disorganised to handle the stress of serving the customers. Quality of food was good.

Bad fishing day means stopping off at the chippie in the way home! We sat on the warf (10m away) looking out across the water to Paihia. Such a nice way to spend the evening. Oh and the food is good also. Try the pineapple fritters!

Decent enough fish and chip shop that does the trick to fill a stomach. Unfortunately the shop was out of a number of things we wanted, but that's understandable at the busy time of year we visited. Prices fairly high, but equivalent to other high season tourist areas no doubt.

Best fish and chips I have had for a while. Went at opening time before the rush and did notice a bit of a difference to our order in the evening when the place was busy. I'm guessing the oil got a little cooler with so many orders. Still was nice.

Called through a phone order. Was told they were busy so would have to hurry up. Food was expensive but had a good reputation. Got the food and polar opposite of what the reviews had said. Soggy chips. Full of oil. Burgers were OK but definitely had better and for cheaper. Definitely a let down and overpriced. Hopefully service and... More

We had a very nice picnic on the town green catered by crusty crab 🦀. Very nice food, quick and cheap, lots to go around.

Bought the tarahiki and chips special, some drinks and had a picnic on the foreshore. I am not a fish lover. Even so this meal was deliciously fresh, tasty and the chips were just right
