I was initially hesitant thinking this place is for people who are into high tea etc. My friend convinced me and we showed up on a nice sunny morning. We were greeted by friendly staff. I ordered "All Day Breakfast". I was in heaven for next 10 minute. Everything in the plate was cooked nicely. The sausage and bacon was... More

Absolutely delicious date scones. Crunchy on the outside and moist (buy not too dense) on the inside, with a nice serve of jam and whipped cream on the side. The only thing that would have made the scones better was double cream but you can't have everything. The tea was nice enough but would have benefited from a longer brew... More

Good food and coffee, but variable service. On our first visit our waitress was excellent but on two subsequent visits a different waitress was peevish and slow. Another friend said she was positively rude. We therefore haven't returned.

Delightful setting in old beautifully renovated house over looking an extensive tree filled garden. Food different in a delightful way - top marks for taste and presentation . Lovely range of teas, good coffee. Inexpensive.

A very wonderful & peaceful location, nice service and a good choice of cake. On a nice day the outside seating is very pleasant.

Was a lovely setting , beautiful gardens . Not sure we would go back with toddlers in tow , menu quite expensive and a bit too posh for my taste but great that Nelson has s place like this !

Was taken here by a friend for my birthday lunch, was my first visit. I had the field mushrooms and I can not fault them, my friend had the chicken salad and also said the meal was great. The atmosphere adds to the whole experience, the only downside is I wish I had time to try one of the amazing... More
