Restaurant on the north side, knowledgable staff, serving fresh local seafood. Not cheap, but a great place for a special night out

I had the tofu and vegetable stirfry (i am a vegan) and it was absolutely delicious! The service was very good and my family who both ate meat/fish, also loved theirs!

The meals were slow to come out, but were well worth the wait. Portion sizes were generous, and there was no way I was getting to the end of mine.

After having to leave our first choice for dinner due to fresh paint smells giving me a headache, we popped in here. Quick service and we didn't have to wait long for our meals. I had the seafood curry and it was delicious.

The lamb shanks are always really tasty. Was a little dissapointed there were no spring rolls available on my most recent visit as in the past they would have to be the best spring rolls i have ever tasted. Soooo fresh and delicious. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. And quick service for food and drinks. The restaurant is... More

I ordered a chicken satay with rice and a crayfish with steamed vegetables and mashed potato. Both dishes were delicious. Not really Indonesian but very nice. The crayfish came with a bowl of water with lemon to wash my... More

The food was good, just not great. Compared to our overall experience of food in NZ, it was disappointing. The evening that we were there was not busy, so there was not much of an atmosphere. The service was timely, it just seemed a bit disinterested. Overall, as my rating indicates, we found it average.
