Food was OK but not great - huge serves so value for money. The choices were varied and a localised NZ style of Chinese so not especially authentic. They stayed open for me and a couple of other late customers - others are not so flexible and this was appreciated by tourists.

We purchased dinner here for ourselves and friends. We ordered several different types of meals. Chicken Chow Mein, Chicken Fried Rice and Sweet and Sour Pork. It was not nice at all. In fact we were starving and none of us liked the food. Ended up throwing it out and going to MacDonalds

I really hate to say this because two years ago it was the best Chinese food place. I heard it went downhill but I decided to try it for my self. I just grabbed a container a filled it myself. Honestly, looked awful and tasted just as bad. The fried rice was just white rice with some peas.. Sorry, the... More

Went there for lunch with a 2 others, we were greeted strait away but thought it was odd to walk down a short corridor to get to the dinning area, the person showed us around the place which was helpful, so we then made our way to gather our food and when we got to the buffet there were flies... My family and I used to go here for dinner at least once a month a few years ago when it was an actual restaurant... now... the food is mediocre.. the atmosphere is really run down.. their fried rice is literally rice and peas... their garlic prawns were revolting.. I won't be going back.

Been here twice in the last few weeks. Ordered food from the Menu which was good and heaps of it (we both had doggie bags) and had the buffet meal on the second visit. Fresh, tasty and lots of variety. The service was excellent and the atmosphere and décor good. Don't let the outside of the place put you off,... More

Got taken here by friends who had not realized in was now with different owners. Had to walk past the take away selection area down a scruffy hall way to " the restaurant" area. Seating was cheap and decor dowdy. Signs above each table warned you to only take what you can eat or you will be charged for your... More

We are from Auckland and we drove pass this place many times previously but we never actually tried it. We managed to have a meal here last week and we thought it was surprisingly good. It was a Friday night. Adults cost $18 each and $1 for each age of children. There were plenty of food to choose from -... More
