Awesome breakfast! Gf, df, vegan & more. Best breakfast I've had so far in NZ! Friendly staff, food so good I bought lunch to take away 😊

Well usually I see Vegetarian Cafe and keep walking, but this place is great and keeps me coming back for more. On Saturday mornings they sell the best bread from in front of the cafe at the Thames Market. I love my coffee and they make it well. Always a smile and bit of a chat as well.

A delightful cafe in the main street of Thames. Humming with people even on a Monday when I visited! Very friendly helpful staff who care about you. Food delicious! Try the red lentil kumara and coconut soup. Large plateful served with wholegrain toast and the apricot and caramel nut muffins. Prompt service in spite of nearly being full. received my... More

Great service and consistently good coffee. Best scrambled eggs and mushrooms in town. My favourite place for breakfast.

Great to see a cafe being opened in the late afternoon. Enjoyed nice coffee and a great carrot cake with friends. Clean and tidy.

A favourite with our family. This place is a Thames institution and as such it can be difficult to get a seat at mid day. Lovely vegetarian food. My husband loves his meat, but the food is so inviting at Sola he doesn't miss it. We enjoyed a light fluffy egg omelette, which we shared on this visit along with... More

Popped in and had a delicious coffee and took forever to decide which yummy treat to have! Finally decided on a tart plum jam pie which tasted as nice as it looked! Little cafe with lovely atmosphere.

This cafe has become a regular place to meet friends and family in Thames. The staff are usually very friendly, even if it gets a little crowded and busy at times. The gluten free muffins are delicious and the coffee is reliable and satisfying.

My go to place when I visit Thames so I'm far from a regular but have been going periodically for more than 5 years. I felt the service was a little lacking, and the food had dropped a notch or two since my last visit in February this year. I'd seen this place advertised for sale on Trademe so perhaps... More

Excellent wholesome food and coffee is probably the best in the thames township. The service was a bit slow both times we were there and the tables were not cleared as quickly as one would like as we were sitting in others dirty dishes for some time. That aside the food is good and staff friendly.
